They game MW2 a higher score last year but GOTY went to UC2. Makes you wonder sometimes doesn't it.
Actually, Sony showed the Eyetoy doing just that years prior to Natal being a concept at MS. If you look at the old eyetoy ads and the Natal E309 ad, you will see that just about everything MS showed was from the Eyetoy ads from 2002. Sony was just protecting their IPs such as Eyepet that is already on the market. But hey, believe what you may.

Tribes was a great TPS with armored soldiers kinda like Halo. It had light, mid, and heavy armor classes that added lots of depth to the game. Featured jet packs, vehicles, seamless indoor to outdoor environments with vast maps. Deployable stations, force fields, turrets, and the works. And some of the PC mods where out of this world.
It was released first on PC which is why when Halo was released I wasn't impressed. Halo felt to enclosed for me and lacked a lot of the great feat...
now people are acting like Zipper just pulled their finger and gave you a whiff of something bad. This shows just how good a game MAG is. It is a very tactical shoot that is so deep that even a month after it's been released people still haven't mastered the few maps we do have.

From what I've seen, if they just changed the name to Max Pain you wouldn't know this had anything to do with Splinter Cell. Maybe through in some hallucinations and such, but the art style and story feels more Max Pain to me.

I'm gonna sell my MGS80gb and my 60gb PS3 and get the Wii and Wii fit so I can be on the winning side of this console war. Cause everyone knows the Wii is the only real gaming console this gen, with the top selling games such as Wii party.

but I don't think Sony would divide the PSN Premium gamers from the regular gamers in future games, well other than MMOs as I mentioned earlier. Yes, from a business standpoint they could do as suggested some time in the future, but from a cultural standpoint it would be akin to going back on their word.
For now, we will just have to wait and see what Sony has up it's sleeve. Which will likely be revealed at E310.

Most PS3 games use dedicated servers as a part of the free service. Since Sony has stated that all free PSN services will remain the same, this means that Premium membership has to come with services and bonuses not found in the current service.

They are likely releasing DC Universe and Free Realms later this year. While Free Realms is a micro transaction based MMO and will probably be available to all PSN accounts, DCU will be the first of the premium MMOs on the PSN.
You pay either a yearly fee or a monthly fee and you will have access to all MMOs available on the PSN. Sony will track player's time on each MMO and will give them a royalty based on that time to each publisher of a MMO.

I've noticed that almost everytime I come on N4G and see an article about XBL being down, that within 2 weeks PSN goes down. Just last week this happened and I recall the same thing happening at least twice last year.
Wonder what could be happening that would cause both networks to go down within days of each other at regular intervals?
But the only problem is that every time I go to walmart and such they are sold out of PS3s. Sony is gonna have to open a new plant or expand the one they have to meet the ever growing demand. They have the games, the price, the console that does it all. Now they just need to get that console on the streets asap.
Would also be sweet if Sony Santa Monica made the next Heavenly Sword using the GoW3 engine.
I could watch videos of people playing 360 games on the PS3 browser. It would be as if I was right there while a friend was playing on my system!!!

Thanks to Natal, I can see 360 topping out at around 90 million. Wii due to a lack of HD, will top out over 100 million but not by much. PS3 will do 100 million before the PS4 arrives and will go on to still sell quite a bit more units. This will be due to it having Blu-Ray, 3D movies and 3D games, PSArc, free online services, great Exclusive games, and Home (never underestimate the power of this casual commodit...
