Gamers everywhere need to take a strong stand against this greedy BS. Otherwise if we as a whole give in, the situation will continue to get worse and worse. My advise is not to look for ways of saving on this game, rather look for games that deserve your hard earned cash.

Of course you could, but if money is not an issue you can buy a gaming PC instead that puts it to shame. Owning both of those, allows you to play Xbox, PC and PS4 games.

$700 to $800 would do it. Then again, you could invest more since a PC gives you 2 platforms worth of a video games (ergo better value) and doesn't require annual XBL subscription fees, which you could budget towards it if you like.
And remember, this isn't an issue for someone comfortable in purchasing a "premium product".

G20WLY gets it. Some "gamers" forget that it's all about the games. I'm just happy that most gamers are not the diehard Xbox faithful. Exactly. Sometimes a necessary evil is what it takes. Games being slapped with a 21+ rating will not be carried by many retailers. Thus forcing the hands of the publishers like EA to drop the gambling lootbox "feature" in their games.
