IMO Remedy definitely knows how to tell a good story. I loved Alan Wake as it kept me very engaged throughout and the soundtrack was very well done. :D From what I saw at the E3 trailer, I'm very much excited for Control. My only concern is I hope they take their time and polish it. I know they are capable.

@sonic989 "Ninty is still clean at least."

I find it funny you say that, since I know many people that view Ninty as tainted, since their views on them are they incorporate ghosts and magic, things they believe are tied to the occult and wrapped in a nice kid friendly package making it easier to digest.

So I guess "Ninty is still clean" is based off of whatever standard you choose to live by.

When I read comments like these from people such as HeisenbergX, the sheer hypocrisy is always the icing on the cake. I'm going to assume your name is based on the Physicist and not the TV show drug lord character who manufactured dangerous illegal drugs, was responsible for many deaths and tore his family apart. I know people who do not wish to see that kind of stuff in their programming along with things depicted in this game.

You complain you don't like this, yo...

This question deserves an online poll, where the only free choice is "no" and the other choices are unlockable via micro-transactions.

When you compare all the studios they shutdown to what they've now acquired, would you honestly say they're in a much better position now?

They're definitely taking some steps forward after taking so many back, but it's far, far too early to say they have their shit together. But I can understand how some will cling to whatever positive change they make in hopes for a bright Xbox future. As for me, I'm a realist and I'm not convinced or excited yet. ...

"They just don't want to p*** off Xbox die hards who have always been by the Xbox and throw future customers away"

It's happening already. Not all of course, but many are beginning to see their true colors. My bro was the biggest Xbox supporter I know. He sold his Xbox One and I didn't find out till over a year later because he was so embarrassed for giving them the support he did and for trying to persuade everyone we knew to buy on...

@darthv72 "no I don't know it but I can be optimistic that it could"

IMO, that's just wishful thinking given the circumstances. I don't see any way of being confident in that happening.

For those defending this game, let's just say someone made a game based on child molestation, where your goal as the molester is to abduct and rape children (unseen of course), and you could also play as the children trying to escape, would you guys also defend that game too? Just curious.

Ok, I am going to respond to this, but prefer to preface my comment by letting you I am just commenting from my perspective/opinoin and not "attacking you" so to speak.

"My PC is in my home office. So that personally doesn't work for me."

Yes, keeping your gaming PC in your office is your choice. Perhaps you don't want or cannot afford to have a separate PC or laptop for work use. Understood. But that isn't a fault of the...

"I have a gaming PC and the consoles. After spending the entire work week behind a PC screen for 90% of your day, the simplicity of a console is preferred. "

What? Whenever I hear these sentiments, I always get confused. Can you please help me understand exactly what is far less simple about a gaming pc connected to the same TV as your consoles? I understand the initial setup of your game is a bit more involved (but even many games have a certain amount of customi...

Miss the ol' Sega days. Still have my Model 1 Genesis, Model 1 CD and 32x tower and wireless controllers. lol I use a SCART to RGB connector, and connect it via component video. Don't think I could ever part with my childhood games.

" I'm use to owning all systems at once, but what they've been releasing games wise just is not cutting it for me"

Similar to me. Owned the OG Xbox (loved it) and even had X360 since launch day. However, the last few years of the 360 taught me a valuable lesson. So I waited this gen and glad I did. Especially when Phil said the games were also coming to PC. But the games I've been excited about from them were QB (initially), Fable and Scalebound. =S

"My point is what proof do you have that the title is wrong? It is vague certainly, but they could be referring to some obscure record like they always do."

@Christopher
I too would appreciate knowing if you wouldn't mind explaining that to us. Thanks.
