Keep crashing.
Keep burning.
Sony is on for a rude awakening once Fairgame$ and Marathon release. Eventually they will learn their lesson. At least I hope so.
I would hope that this could course-correct Sony going forward, but Hulst confirms in the email that he wants to keep the live service initiative going, which is not good.
Fairgame$, Marathon, Horizon multiplayer... How many more bombs will it take to get them to understand?
I played a little of this game and freakin' LOVED it! But I forced myself to stop because I hadn't played Galaxy 2, which I've been playing every day for the past week. Cripes, Galaxy 2 is way better than I expected it to be! Even though I dislike the Wiimote and nunchuck controls, and it annoyed me a lot with Galaxy 1, part 2 just feels better and slightly less gimmicky when it comes to the controls.
Ubisoft crumbling, huh?
All those cookie cutter, generic, grindfest, slogs, that push players towards micro-trash-actions to reduce grind, aren't bringing in enough currency these days?
All those rushed-to-market releases for Black Friday sales isn't helping, because people are sick of broken incomplete games.
All those fake apologies, promising to do better, but never actually becoming better isn't tricking gamers anymore....
I completed both recently, and they're okay. They've got nothing on A Link to the Past, but they did feature a few challenging dungeon puzzles, overall they are worth a playthrough, but also not that memorable.
Ubisoft has upset me with their awful business practices. I believe in voting with my wallet, and they don't get my money anymore, even if they release a good game.
They poison the well, and expect me to return to it? Nope, suffer the consequences of your actions.
Out of those 20, only 3 were created directly by MS:
Forza Motorsport
Age of Empires
Flight Simulator
The rest were bought. Yet Satya boasts as if they're talented to have created all 20 IPs in house.
"Phil Spencer Plays Everwild at Rare HQ... Right Before He Cancels it."
Cloud gaming, recurring subscription fees, own nothing, games can be taken away from you at any time, dependent on a solid internet connection, and do I even need to mention that there's always some input lag. There is no way that its better (or cheaper in the long run), than buying actual hardware and playing a game locally.
Not interested. Time to learn another lesson, huh?
All this money wasted could be better spent on games like Ape Escape 4, Lammy 2, Parappa 3, Coolboarders, 4 X-Treme, Jumping Flash 4 Motortoon Grand Prix 3, or Project Horned Owl 2.
Stream Deck doesn't need minor upgrades flooding the market. Waiting for a big jump, like consoles is smart and doesn't burn your customers feeling like they should have waited.
Steam Deck isn't designed to be running PS5 / XBSX type of games at 1080p 60 FPS, there's millions of games to play from the past that it can run perfectly well. That's the point of handhelds, last generation visuals, but now its portable!
I don't own Stea...
If not Killzone then make a new IP. I like Aloy, but give her, and that world / story a little break. Make something new.
Nice to see the game getting positive reviews. Back in 2011, when I completed Generations 100%, my biggest complaint was that I wanted more to play. This re-release nearly doubles the length of the game, which is exactly what I've wanted all along.
I've had similar thoughts, but disc capacity sizes may or may not be an issue. Perhaps they'll have to use two discs for installation (such as FF7 Rebirth).
Its good for everyone when all 3 are being worked on simultaneously, to motivate the others, and learn from each other.
I have an unopened disc drive waiting for my PS5 Pro to arrive next month. I wouldn't have bought the Pro if discs weren't an option. I do believe PS6 will be similar, disc drive sold separately.
Another good choice!
PSSR is going to improve over time. Its just on 1.0 right now, while FSR is on 3.1, and DLSS is at 3.7, now imagine what PSSR will be like when its at 3.0!
Working on Collar Duty is good for job security, but its depressing knowing that you're slaving away on same game every year.
