Shuhei being lead game designer for Ape Escape makes him a legend. I love that game, need to replay it yet again soon.
I had no idea this existed, thanks for sharing. Yet another reason why homebrew firmware is better than official firmware.
Don't be scared, I've soft modded all 5 of my 3DS family of devices with zero issues. Softmodding opens up online play once again, if you care for that. And a new fan-run online store, where of course everything is free.

ThirdTube stopped working, but there's a new version called FourthTube.
Just me chiming in with Time Crisis Razin' Storm, which is 3 arcade shooters games on one disc. Playing all 3 games with a co-op buddy is a blast, but of course you'll want either GunCon 3, or PS Move controllers and PS Eye camera, but they are well worth buying to experience arcade gaming goodness at home.
Yep that's why I'm glad I stocked a few in advance, I did pay around $300 USD for a used but good condition Japanese New 3DS XL with dual IPS screens.
Japanese systems can use be homebrewed and you can install the American firmware on it easily. You may want to look internationally, especially since Japanese people take far better care of their devices, and they typically don't lie about their condition like people from other countries would.
18 months until a game breaks even? This is why the industry is spiraling out of control with awful business practices.
Reminder, the game awards is a stupid, worthless show, run by morons. Don't get offended, or bothered by anything related to this crap show that holds no value.
That's what Richard Leadbetter said, and it makes perfect sense. The next Xbox will have Windows compatibility, which means it will have Steam / Epic stores on it, which means when Sony ports their first party games to Steam / Epic, those games are compatible on the next Xbox.
Which means Xbox gets all Sony first party PC ports by doing absolutely nothing. In a strange twist its a genius move that only Microsoft themselves can do.
Will it help them re...
With Game Pass and now multiplatform releases, nothing can save it. Phil killed Xbox, when it could have been a contender if only they focused on the right aspects (the games!).
It makes sense, Microsoft burned millions of customers throughout the generation, causing them to move over to PC or PS.
Very few worthwhile games the entire generation, lots of promises that were never fulfilled, plenty of rushed unpolished releases, canceled games that people were looking forward to (Scalebound, Phantom Dust remake, Project Spark).
How many games announced during the Xbox One generation never came out and are now Xbox Series games? Per...
These days "RPG" translates to constantly grinding for experience points, wasting time upgrading gear, and repeatedly collecting resources off the ground.
Please don't be an Ubishit style filler game.
No, the cloth physics are still 30 FPS, and it looks stuttery compared to the rest of the game. I can deal with it, but some people regret updating because of this. On PC it only takes a couple of seconds to fix this by changing a number in a text file, so why didn't the dev team for it for console? Lack of quality control.
The PS5 Pro patch was only 171 MBs, so its even smaller than Ubisoft's claim of 0.75 GB.
Some people hypothesized that the PlayStation exclusive content (Darwin and Dickens missions) would be coming to Xbox for the first time with the new patch, but it wasn't added. A patch this large is clearly redownloading the entire game all over again, the dev team made that choice for a reason, we just don't know what that reason is.
You just found this out now? I've bought zero LEGO games, but I have played demos on Xbox / PS4 / PSP, and yeah, they're all boring, and repetitive. Even if you gave me these games for free, I wouldn't waste my time on them.
However, an actual LEGO building game, would be more interesting to me. But these action / adventure games are just a snoozefest.
This comment deserves more upvotes.
The perfect release date isn't when cry babies whine over a remake to a classic (go ahead and re-play the original to keep yourself busy), the last thing we need is another god damned disaster like Master Collection Vol.1.
The perfect release date is when a game 'just works' day one without having to be patched just for basic functionality, and where the dev team doesn't have to work crunch hours endlessly.
YES, update Unity to 4K 60! I loved the French revolution setting, I even enjoyed playing CO-OP online, its too bad that they removed it from Syndicate, but the incredibly negative reaction from Unity (mostly because it was rushed out 4 - 6 months too soon), made Ubisoft think we didn't want the mode to come back.
If you've read my comments here before, you know damn well that I'm always quick to mock Ubisoft, but in this case, its good news. Glad to see that Syndicate went from being almost broken on PS5 BC, to receiving a free 60 FPS update patch.
While this game did have grind elements, and skill trees, it wasn't exhaustively grindy like the later games would end up being. The London setting was amazing, too, and the soundtrack by Austin Wintory was fantastic. I really...
Please watch video reviews on Astro Bot Rescue Mission. You'll end up pleasantly surprised, the game is a must play (and it was given away for free four years ago).
