Graphics is one thing, lets see what more core gameplay mechanics show us. I like the mechanics put forward in Titanfall, it played very nicely and is very satisfying, so I'm hoping this comes together as something new and delicious.

Bah, put realism in if it serves or aids in the suspension of disbelief motif of the game. You'll always have you basic - now generally called "Retro" games - which are cool, and don't need that hyper-realism. Gameplay is important firstly, but if "realism" aids the game in being what it is, then by all means, add it. just don't stuff up the gameplay component in favour of realism.

Hey, all good with that, if you or your avatar want to go there, fine by me. Me, I just usually play female toons if I'm going to be playing in a third-person view, because if I'm looking at butts because the camera says so, I want to be looking at big booty in skimpy armour. My one SWTOR toon is an end-game Sith Sorceress, doesn't take take $%^# from no man! But she does look mighty fine with her slotted, dynamic armour-rated Sith Dancer's outfit!
The very thing that stems from gaming of this sort is that it is SUPPOSED to be a suspension of disbelief, where things like problems associated with real-world issues can be put aside for a bit. It is rather a sad thing that those issues that stem from the real world almost get magnified and increased of sorts to the point where the outside world almost seems bearable by comparison. This shouldn't be the case in something that basically is escapism.

There is prejudice in gaming against females for sure, but I'm going to be happy in giving them a free pass. If there is a female-only event, fine, let them have that; mixed teams, sure thing, but please don't do how it happens in real-life sports with a bias, here is truly a "sport" where the playing field is even, even if the males in it are a bunch of assholes to each other and females. A city that feels alive would be epic. With all of GTA5's improvements over its predecessors, there is still soemthing to be said about it being a cleverly deployed wooden facade to make the world work around you, but it isnt really truly alive, but as far as the computational requirements go around something like that or even the bandwidth requirements of simulating that off-client would still be mind-boggling
