All depends on your location versus your destination, if you're in one of the major metro-pols and going to one of the other big ones, then that is pretty OK, say Durban to JHB or CPT...
Don't worry, they're coming
Nobody seems to understand the basic premise of a corporate entity - it exists to make as much money as possible, generally as quickly as possible, with as little expenses as possible.
Keep this in mind with any business entity you interact with - especially if you haven't personally met, spoken to, or otherwise shaken the hand of the 'boss'. And if you're spoken with the 'boss', then this is a small business. A corporate entity has chairmen, a board,...
more like, announce HL3 just for giggles... :)
hehe, probably a whole lot more coming today! Keep 'em coming!
Nope, I'm all about GTA5!! Pre-ordered that bad-boy when it was announced on Steam! now im just waiting for it to unlock and open up - that is going to be sooo awesome! Infact, It's so awesome, I bought it twice! One for PS3, now for PC!!
Sooo... It looks like BF4, plays like BF4, remove a couple of vehicles to not make it over the top, add a couple of new game modes, and we're repackaging the game, calling it a standalone title and not a DLC, like it's supposed to be? Single player mode aside, this almost looks like a rehash of BF:V versus BF2...
Lack of DLNA - that put the PS4 off my list as a thing to acquire any time soon...
Please please please please PLEASE FALLOUT 4!! And not a bloody MMO Fallout!
So... this game is basically a beefed up version of Monday night Combat / Super Monday night Combat? That game can be described as a 3rd person class-based shooter combined with some tower defence action?
In other words, Team Fortress 2 crossed with Dota?
Yes / no / maybe?
Bollocks, i was all about to get into a tizz, but since it is Rockstar, am actually happy. Give me the best damn game ever, Rockstar! Becuase it's you, i'll happily throw money at you, ala making it rain!
I'm a firm believer that video game violence doesn't cause RL violence, and never has. I've seen where it can be an outlet of pent-up anger, a release-valve. So the media turning this into a scapegoat has always been a sore spot for me.
That being said, (tongue in cheek), videogames or computer games don't cause violence, lag does :)
This should fill the void in my life lacking HL3, just for a little bit...
I shall take your council and reject it outright! While the Steambox is still a bit out there, you can cook a relatively cheap PC to play most of the titles, with a controller.
Hell, it doesn't even need that much horsepower, since it can leverage streaming from machine with more grunt to it.
So Steam-based PC or SteamOS machine first - PS4 a maybe second. Good article regardless
It's ridiculous that this state of game affairs continues to happen. You'd expect that most games release should perform "well" on the games' stated mid-range spec, not run like an old dog.
Crikey, my dog (my actual dog, not the PC, or the SO) can still run at 45kp/h sustained - a hell a lot better than some of the framerates that you'd see out of these games these days...
Not a fair comparison to my dog though...
I'm ready for it any time - Valve generally has incredible goodwill with their titles, unlike some other publishers / developers, that they can almost (ALMOST!) do no wrong...
Exclusives are one thing, but what about the raw ability to do the thing that they are designed to do, and do it well? Does game X available on both consoles play better on the Xbox?
Thanks for the review! Thats on request for my Christmas stocking!
Good approach, interesting to see how the long-term effects of the Gamergate fallout will help or hurt the more traditional media outlets. Looking forward to the MWEB curator page thingy!
not necessarily - there are other factors that come into play - if your machine does generally have a good ping response time to the target server, but your machine is woefully underspecc'ed to play said game at max graphics settings, this will also cause perceptions of lag. I'll be exploring that in a future article...
