Can never go wrong with arkanoid, always an easy winner
oooh shiny! I just got to get around to actually playing the previous Metro title!
Thats just the clans, that doesnt include how many divisions or teams per clan, so the numbers aren't bad...
interesting to see what the mag has to say, looks like im subbing...
Not my cuppa tea sadly, looks interesting though!
Looking good indeed, Black Ops 2 upped the ante last year, so it will be interesting to see how the final parts in BF4 are going to stack up, considering how ham-handed BF3 is for eSports.
Competition is good, all-round
Great read, looking forward to seeing this game, and not just simply as a sponsor on UFC every two weeks :)
Most interesting, but it is a viewpoint i have had for some time already. The big problem is that while the games themselves are by and large unrealistic, its not so much the shooting, but who your opponents are.
If you look at the trend over the last decade, your Middle-Eastern types were the focused enemy. Now, it seems the Russians are once again the bad guys.
Similar things can be observed in training of soldiers over times and ages past, with the targe...
A boxed copy is really cool, but i think it has something to do with Larry's legacy, rather than any other particular reason. Remember that this was released for the PC-XT on 5.25" and 3.5" disks with manuals and everything. And like the smell of a new book, there's something quite... titillating about opening a game in a cardboard box.
Seriously, even something like GTA5 didnt have anything particular in it's DVD cover, just a map, a basic manual with ...
Interesting input on the subject - I'm still amazed that mobile devices have come the way they have, considering that a little more than 10 years ago, the games you had on your mobile were Snake and a couple of others, and you were locked in with that.
Now, with mobile devices becoming so ubiquitous in modern society, it only makes sense that this sector is receiving growth in gaming. It also helps that some golden oldies have been ported to this platform (like Carmageddo...
The big problem is that I used gaming as a coping mechanism during the breakup of my marriage - suppose in some ways another way that drinking does for others.
I used it wrong, but it works well for others, and can positively reinforce others' relationships. I know several people that hooked up because of gaming, and gaming keeps them together. Sindel Pellion of EVE Online fame is a great example.
I'm still trying to log on, but then again, havent been focussing on it, will give that a go ASAP!
Crash Bandicoot is definitely due for a reboot! The others, I'm mostly meh about...
yup, i want some of that action! I am an entitled gamer, dagnabit!
Sure it sounds great and all, but I'll bet it would be turned down or around due to potentially hurting sales of popular games. Spec Ops: The Line seems to do a good job on highlighting the stupidity of what we currently understand as popular shooters, but if Activision and friends don't push this, it'll never gain support
There's plenty of idiots in all walks of life, it just seems the Internet has given them a disproportionately large voice...
there should be a half-Life 1 or Half-Life 2 entry in here somewhere too, but a Valve game got in, so I'm happy!
I'm a fan of the big huge strat types, but the Total War series never really caught my attention... Who knows, i might try this...
Bang with Friends sounds better IMO - Down makes no real sense...
I wouldn't quite put it as cost-effective, but it certainly is EFFECTIVE! I own the G500, this mouse's predecessor, solid piece of kit! I have mine weighted at its maximum capacity, and love using it every day!
