Would you stop crying about it already! Your attitude is what turns potential great games into standardized open world checklists. Go play Mario if you can't handle this.
I'm with Sony on this one, it was a great way to wrap up the show.
As a side note: wasn't really hyped up on Detroit, but after seeing the newest trailer that all the special kids in class found to be too controversial (F*** Off btw), I'm actually really on board with this thing n...
The trailer looked insanely awesome, but I'm a bit concerned about what Druckmann said after the show, about taking the focus away from Ellie. I hope it's not a split story, but otherwise I'm good :D
Am I the only one laughing at the irony of "survive" in this context? xD
The way I see it, most games are exclusively designed to make companies money nowadays. Due to gaming becoming a mainstream phenomenon on a global scale, the repercussions are now biting our own asses.
Say there's a group of 6.000.000 gamers. Maybe a 1.000.000 of those, if not 500.000, actually play proper offline games.
The rest are just interested in online gaming with friends, casual gameplay that requires low investment and may have MT's, or games remin...
Haven't Microsoft turned their back on exclusives in general at this point? In their defense though, I now own a Cuphead machine :)
The issue isn't exactly that they are there per se. You can have MT's without them intruding on your gameplay.
The big issue and why it's blowing up at this point, is that MT's has become an integral part of AAA game design. As a rule of thumb, the core game will suffer as an effect of that, because the MT systems lies so close to the center of the design taxonomi.
MT's used to be a peripheral option, now it's a center feature :O
Ancient Egypt - Done
Neither, they both use checkerboard and both consoles are great. Stop flamebaiting
In your opinion maybe. For me, it's easily a 9/10 and worth the price of of admission. The way they blend corridor horror with "open world" survival, is really beautifully crafted. The game has issues yes, but the pros far outweighs the cons for me.
Like i told one of my friends, the game is a mix of the silent hill style atmosphere and monster design, and the Last of us hub area stealth/action survival gameplay.
But that's exactly the issue this time around. The gameplay itself is hella fun, but the roadmap for progression is sooooo bad. It's a shame really :o
Haha i love how, since the beta, EA and now DICE has gone into full damage control mode xD
If nothing else, it keeps things entertaining.
Seriously though, they say that they're listening to feedback, but the primary progression design, is centered around lootboxes. Seeing as this is the only big issue people complain about, it's going to be a case of "your opinions are dearly noted" :O
It's funny, seeing as the user score on metacritic is 8.8 out of 293 xD
Dude, why you trollin' around?
Well, if devs would stop structuring the flowcharts of the game design around MT's, maybe it would be possible to actually avoid buying them.
As it stands, they try to push it down our throats, from menu screens to loading screens to grinding, the possibility of just "avoiding" it, becomes more narrow with each AAA game released.
And Fourth: f off and die lootboxes! --II--
There's a whole generation of teenagers who refuses to play anything that doesn't have online connections. Essentially what most people on n4g calls casuals. They mostly just wanna play online with friends. Blame them, not adults who remember s***t from before the online only crisis -_-
@rainslacker
I pretty much agree dude. It didn't need to go into console-war territory, but there's drama in it. And drama sells more than decent behavior :P
I'm not against the comparison of the two per se, seeing as both are racing Sims, but it shouldn't have to cross that self-righteous flamebait border. If anything, compare the two on a referential basis that could help people on the fence, and put it in an article by itself.
This is a review of ...
I played the demo last weekend, it's playing well, even with controllers it's responding quite accurately.
Dunno about the dlc though, but it's a pretty solid game. Just remember to turn off all the assist crap :P
I won't downplay Forza's qualities, because they are pretty damn good, but holy hell, that reviewer is aggressive with the comparison :P
However, didn't PD say at one point, that Sport wasn't actually intended as the next singleplayer GT? Think I read something like that, that Sport is supposed to be an online primary thing :)
The final game will probably have lootboxes where you can unlock each chapter of the story, if you're lucky :)
