There's no way in hell this franchise will last 10 years with the lack of dedication that Bungie is showing right now.
They even essentially said that they don't give rat's ass about creating games, because it's "hard" -_-
Depends on the type of trophy really.
Bloodborne was a blast to Plat because it forced you to explore everything and defeat all optional bosses.
Ninja gaiden sucked because the trophy list was filled with 'do x 1000 times', where you would maybe get one of those per playthrough.
Telltale trophies are just ridiculous, seeing as you get everything from completing the game once.
The collection trophies in games are just a ...
Lol, couldn't connect in Nioh yesterday, just figured my router was f*****g up :P
Didn't expect a psn meltdown
It's either kind of yes, or the decision-makers at MS are ridiculously incompetent seeing as their business strategy for the market has been exceptionally poor this gen.
And before the whole XbX release thing hammers me. Just because they released it, it doesn't mean that they still have a high interest in their console branch brand equity.
They probably began putting the X together a couple of years ago, which means that the executive order was already gi...
The thing is, it's not a very good game. It's generic as s**t and has MT's stuffed in. And that's beside the always online bs.
I bump this dude ^
Haven't they said that for like 2-3 years now? And every E3 they promise us great 'surprises', followed by a year of almost nothing :O
The problem is that one word, 'lootbox'. It's enough to kill anything for me these days. It might be cosmetics, but down the line a new patch update will arrive, with 'new and improved' items, that will sell better. See where I'm goin'?
I'm not saying they'll do it, I'm just saying that as soon as there's lootboxes in games nowadays, the possibility of it happening is like 70/30 or somethin' -_-
I hate it bruv, it...
My hype boner just went flaccid -_-
Ffs
Lol, f**k off remedy, you sound like you're already in damage control for your next game -_-
@tankcrossing They also said that a 40 hour grind to unlock heroes in BF2 was to establish "a sense of pride and accomplishment"
It's essentially a system that defines your gaming experience based off of an algorithm, which means that you as a player, are getting told how to play.
Whether the intentions are MT's or not (but come on, it's EA), it's still derogatory to the gaming experience.
There's a reason why it's usuall...
You do realize that Far Cry 5 happens in USA right? People not swearing would be about as realistic as ISIS members becoming pop stars.
The drug usage isn't really anything new, but it's also not unrealistic to expect a drug user or two in the States.
In terms of your "80s and 90s" thing, I think you need to actually look into it. There is a very real issue with some religiously-dictated closed communities in USA, i.e. the cult-like Mormon groups ...
Probably not. It's not CoD, GTA or Pubg, and you can't play it online. Luckily, there's more than enough people who played, or heard, of the original back then, that'll buy it ^^
I'm deffo looking forward to it :D
This author is one of those gaming "journalists", who would fail in the Cuphead tutorial xD
^ what this dude is saying :O
Does it matter? Retards and their "War". Isn't it all about the games?
Ffs, allowed myself to get excited for two seconds, but then "mobile" came up -_-
You have to think about the fact that all the 12-year-olds whom make up 90% of the CoD base, aren't legally allowed to stand up to anything :O
So Activision will never get that amount of backlash, sadly. Although they did get a bit, with the continuous Destiny 2 screw ups.
Or, you know, they could make another game?
Thought that was the deal with game devs. Rockstar haven't made a game since what, 2014 or something.
Rdr2 online will probably be sustainable for the next 4 years after release too.
Are they really trying though? Or are they just continually apologizing for being called out for shady decisions?
And honestly, the vision for the game should be a foundation on which to build, not a thing they still struggle with on their second entry :O
