From what i gathered, it's apparently a brawler type game, kinda like the Naruto games :O
To me, it felt like the same guy, reading a piece of text out loud in two different times :P
Voice acting aside, the gameplay and melee looks like it has some potential :D

I'm pretty sure it was rendered in-game bro. If you look at MGS 5 and the clothing/movement/shadows etc, it looked pretty playable. Cgi took over when he got emerged I think.
