I just don't think they're different enough. Yes of course they'll be different to some extent, but, on the PS4 there's some IP that took some risk or are different than standard fair. Until Dawn, Tearaway reimagined, New Dragon quest Heroes (mashup of Dynasty Warriors/ DQ), 1st new numbered Persona since the PS2. Same with Nobunaga's Ambition.
As for big hitting titles are Star Wars, Fallout 4, COD BO3, Just Cause 3, Mad Max, AC Syndicate, MGS V, Uncha...

I personally don't give a crap about Halo, Forza, Fable, Gears so this 'big' fall line up isn't nearly as exciting as the awesome 3rd party titles this fall. All the titles everyone is hyping is rehashed as far as I'm concerned and variety and new experiences are welcome. I'm not telling people that their lacking originality however.
Bigger than Uncharted?! Naughty Dog has more awards than EVERY game you listed combined. Bloodborne sold well over a million copies and has outsold almost every MS exclusive to date. So judging by sales your list fails miserably.
You know they hate Japanese games, but, they'll rave about Scalebound even though NONE of Kamiya's games have busted out big sales. They'll not count all the Japanese games on PS4 yet list Phantom Dust, Scalebound and Recore on just about every list.
The best is that Persona, Dragon quest, Disgaea etc. Are niche when mentioned, but, then they list Recore, Phantom Dust and Scalebound for varieties sake as if they aren't even more niche. Makes sense.
I wouldn't say it's a ton. But my store is getting significantly more than at launch. Today we're receiving Villager, Marth and for the 1st time we're getting Lucario.
PS1 and PS2 dwarfed their opponents and were there respective generations best systems so sometimes what sells the most is the best. Also Sony has a record of excellence that transformed the industry. So why not just wait out the generation before bringing in generalizations.

No prob. I am pretty old-school for wanting to own my discs and physical media. It's still no guarantee, but, always good to have options and sometimes these versions come along and save us.

This was the only way to get FF XIII with the original Japanese audio with English subtitles for example. They did the whole trilogy this way. Since the PS3 and PS4 are region free you can order off this website or the UK.

Weird the coming week there is a Madden 16 Xbone bundle followed by a Fifa 16 bundle. Is that cheating as well? Xbone has Rainbow 6 Siege, The Division, Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 exclusive marketing as well. Is that not 'cheating' as well?
Funny most of those games you listed aren't out yet. No one plays those Japanese games you say? Weird Recore and Scalebound along with Phantom Dust are all being produced by Japanese companies. Metal Gear Solid 5 is also coming this fall too.
Also Tomb Raider, Hitman and Just Cause are all owned by a Japanese company as well, probably shouldn't play those as well. I guess Japanese companies having diverse games studios is probably a bad idea too?

Forza 6, Halo 5, Tomb Raider, Fable Legends don't seem too far from previous games and are all old IP's as well.
Wal-Mart and Game stop also have timed exclusives. The PS3/PS4 collector's bundles has 5 figures and another adventure pack/world whereas the regular only has 2 figures.
