They should have just given us download keys. I work at EB Games and for FF XIV Heavensward recently people who bought it on PC could just come in and we gave them the code to download and play the game 3-4 days in advance then when they came in to pick up the physical release they got the disc and new key in the game and banner as a pre-order bonus.

Sales only matter those few months in the U.S. and during the holidays. The rest of the world and non holiday months don't count if you believe xbone fans.

I work at EB Games and it's pretty easy to tell how good a game sells based on our starting stock and how often we restock. We got a large stock for Bloodborne for example and couldn't keep it in stock for long and got stock often. That game went on to sell 1 million +

It's 0 fps on the PC because it's not on PC. So yeah 60 fps on PS4 Uncharted collection is pretty awesome.

The idea that these 2 issues can be compared is preposterous. Unless the system is suddenly being turned into and expensive paper weight how is this even close in comparison.

Our stores get some of releases up to 2 weeks in advance, it's all about planning and distributing. The discs are usually printed and sent out about a month before release date. They usually sit in a warehouse till they're ready to ship.
Also the publishers set the date and it's not breaking any dates. Call of Duty Advanced Warfare day 0 edition preorders got their disc early for preordering as a bonus. So stop making excuses for MS.
I don't see why they can't just do the release like FF XIV Heavensward where we gave our customers a code to download and play the game a week early then on release day the customer just comes in and picks up the physical release and bonus items. It's not rocket science.

Yes they can. Activision allows us to sell our preorders for COD early and will again this year. The publishers set the rules for the releases and reserve the right to waive or change them as they see fit.
