@Hallowedsoul1

I kind of agree that those Sheeple are part of a herd mentality. I just go to where the games are and my friends followed along. I have just got a PC, Xbox1, Switch as well, but, they were just to supplement the PS4 I own.

They also said that at EVERY E3, so its getting repetitive now.

PS5 can release comfortably when its time. No need to rush to the market like Xbox when having a significantly better lineup and more in the pipeline is more important than the system specs. With big games already out and stuff like Spiderman, Days Gone, TLOU 2, God of War, Detroit etc unreleased it will still be the system to beat.

It's funny Commentator says power matters, but, bought the underpowered Xbox instead. PS4 had the advantage in price, exclusives and power wrapped up. Now Scorpio is releasing and apparently it's going to turn around for Xbox? Doubtful. All the power with no games to play is worthless.

Except if your friends all own PS4's then that power doesn't mean much. It's better to play with your friends than have higher resolution. That's why some people opted to buy underpowered Xbox One instead.

I find it weird that the author suggest that Suckerpunch could helm Batman when they are owned by Sony?! Same suggestion that Marvel could court Suckerpunch to do a Marvel franchise game. Does the author not know how unlikely that would be to have a Sony 1st party studio do those particular projects?

Just to correct something you said.

Tales of Vesparia for the PS3 did not get canceled, MS paid for exclusivity and it came to PS3 much later.

If that's the case and exclusives don't matter and as you say mainly 3rd party games are the top sellers then why aren't Xbox One sales better? MS has been far more aggressive in bundling, offering free games and price parity yet the sales aren't there.

I had 2 pallets worth of PS4's after Christmas and not even a pallets worth of Xbox Ones. As soon as Sony dropped the price of PS4 we sold 150+ PS4s over a 3 week period. MS matched priced and offered ...

People will probably 'shut up' when MS show us this wave of games you faithful all seem to suggest is on the way. Wait till E3 has been the stupid mantra you guys have been harping on about 3 years straight. Seriously it's a bit sad. If that was true you would be talking right now about games your playing and what may come. You guys all seem to think 1st party studios grow on trees or something. So again why would any 3rd party developer unless MS opens a cheque book only mak...

But Xbox systems lack the MOST important feature you NEED in a game system in exclusive games. The rest of the features are just that. If resolution actually mattered then you and all the other Xboxers commenting would already own PS4s. So in that way your comment is idiotic. Games are the reason you get game systems. You guys think that Xbox will get a couple games and better resolution is going to be enough to change the tides. It won't be.

If you rolled into th...

Team Ninja just released Nioh too so I would say their making a push to join that list, but, I agree Atlus and FromSoftware rule.

You kind of answered your own question. Ports cost more money and they lose or don't make money hence no other versions. You think that huge companies like Sega, Bandai Namco etc wouldn't know better than you? They do cost versus benefit like any other company and release what they can to the widest audience that isn't a risk to them. Otherwise how do you explain PC ports or games like Valkyria Chronicles, Tales games, Ni No Kuni 2 upcoming etc.?!

3367d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

The only reason Nioh made it over here is because Sony partnered uo with Tecmo Koei and published it here. If you actually owned the game you would know that. The giant Sony logo on the back of the cover is the big give away just in case your looking.

So yeah props to Sony as well for making it happen. They took the risk an...

" first off you need to grow up and move on. if their current product doesn't interest you that's fine, but to hold onto this baggage shows just how personal you take things"

You should take your own advice. Your always on here saying negative stuff about PS4 and talking up garbage Xbox products like Sony ran over your dog or something. Seriously go reread your comments, you come off as a salty fanboy.

Unless MS are writing cheques I don't see why there will be a wave of content coming from PC to Scorpio. Those publishers would be better off porting it to release on PS4/Pro in addition to Xbox. Especially since Scorpio has ZERO units sold.

Short sweet and to the point! With stuff like Horizon, Persona 5, Nioh etc. It's a thing of beauty what Sony has going on.

Gears of War 4 and Halo 5 which are not the best games in their series still got a handful of perfect scores. They are no where perfect either. Same goes for any number series.

The other reason its unlikely is like other have already stated is the battery is a major issue. That's unlikely to change because the type of high capacity batteries that can hold a charge do exist, but, they are unlikely to drop in price ever. The reason being is that those high capacity batteries contain a lot of rare earth metals to make them. Rare earth metals that aren't cheap.

@Obscure

I guess we'll see. I have my doubts. At the heart of it, the basic problems still exist. There is NO market in Japan for the Xbox. Plus even if you think the article is old it does NOT change the base ideas. The article talks about relationships between Japanese studios and MS, do you think it has improved since then? Canceled True Fantasy from one of the biggest JRPG studios and burned that bridge last gen, Level 5 has stayed true to their word and has ...

Doubt owning a japanese studio would bring the talented developers over to work for an American company. MS burned that bridge with Level 5 games. Doubt they would want to join MS again.

"In the months following, Level-5 President and CEO Akihiro Hino stated in a Japanese interview that the poor relations between his company and Microsoft, partially due to the latter's inexperience in dealing with Japanese developers, was one of the major reasons behind True Fant...
