The 'best' place to play is wherever your best friends play, where the games you want to play are. The 'best' versions are not only about graphics. The casual customers that are the majority do NOT care about the graphics. Price is the number one factor that trumps everything, where their friends are and games.
Yeah because the most powerful system always won each generation. Like the PS1, PS2, Wii, DS Lite and 3DS S/. Oh wait that NEVER happened in the history of games EVER.
Exactly. Forget about the competition. Why would casual buyers want to pay $200 more for an X when the vanilla S will play the same games?! Plus on sale the X is $250 more, literally double the price! The casual buyers will buy what is cheaper.
Generations don't matter to customers though. Only nitpicking fanboys care about that. The X is pretty much a 'next gen' design. The only thing customers see is 3 options. The Switch is already on pace to outsell Xbox One all iterations if it continues selling at this current rate. Generations are NOT important, mindshare is. Nintendo is back on the map and selling is all that matters. Xbox is going to take a backseat.

No you're delusional if you think those games will sell Xbox One X systems. I work in a game store and we literally have ZERO preorders for both SoT and Crackdown. They will both sell miserably. I had more preorders of Recore than I did BOTH of those games ...
I agree with Rain and disagree with Bronco. Power doesn't mean much if you got no games. If MS wants to build any foundation for the future they need to set up new studios. Sony has been steady building those studios since the PS2. MS as usual ONLY has short term goals with all this talk of power its apparent. If they actually had ANY foresight they would have set up studios at the same time as developing the X so that they could release games. The X at its high price will sell well...
Exactly! If it was Capcom specifically when you see even Dead Rising 4 hasn't shipped a million worldwide then look at how bad Square Enix, Tecmo Koei etc sell on Xbox. Yet Tecmo Koei has no problem with Nioh busting out 1+ million, 1.8 million for Atlus on Persona 5 and Square having significantly more sales on FF XV on PS4 and releasing DQ Heroes, DQ Builders, World of FF, KH 2.8 + 1.5/2.5. Then look over at Recore, Insomniacs SSO etc. You know if niche is so niche on your system yo...
Get your facts straight. Horizon Zero Dawn has done over 3.4 million so far. Persona is 1.8 million which is more than pretty much ALL Xbox exclusives. Heck Halo Wars did only 150,000? Persona was well beyond that during its launch.
Its funny that Xbox fans are blaming Capcom when its apparent its not just limited to that studio specifically. Especially when you look at other recent massive flops, Recore, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Halo Wars 2, Phantom Dust going free, Fable Legends being canceled, Scalebound getting canceled that the market is NOT there on Xbox at all. Flop after flop proves this. Just wait till Crackdown 3 and Lucky Tales start being given away for free this fall to try to move units.

Just fyi unlike previous games Halo 5 was given away 'free' quite regularly at launch so its 'sales' so to speak are actually pretty terrible. Also thats 1.8 million lifetime sales so far. Sales will continue through its lifetime.

Most of the casual buyers don't care about 4K it has nothing to do with not being able to afford the system. So your comment about peoples moms just show how idiotic you are and your bias. You make it seem like 4K Xbox is going to shoot out the gate and stay with high sales throughout. It will have a nice 2 months maybe then back down.
