Did you even read the article? The story follows God Eater 1 and 2 storyline directly. How many God Eater games were released on Xbox? None. It will be on PS4 and PC. Both PS4 and PC have already released God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2 Rage burst. Notice neither games launched on Xbox. It's being made on PC then ported to console. I'd say pretty likely to skip Xbox again. I'd bet on Steam and PS4 release again.

The games should be easy to port, so I figure since most releases skip the Xbox outright it has to do with low sales and likelihood of recouping cost of another version. Otherwise how would anyone be able to explain how Dark Souls, DBZ, Tekken manage to make it to Xbox just fine? Also look at Mages for example which was 100% releases on Xbox only last gen and now this gen they started out that way and ended up releasing on PS4 as well. Not really. All the current Tales games, .Hack remasters, Ni No Kuni, Sword Art, Gundam, Digimon, Jojo's Bizarre series and previous 2 God Eater Games have not appeared on Xbox in any shape or form.
Probably not. God Eater 1 was on PSP, God Eater 2 was on Vita and PS4 and they remastered 1 for the PS4. No point in releasing part 3 on Xbox One. The story wouldn't have much context without playing the other ones.

Remember Persona 5, Nioh, Nier Automata 'only' sold 1.5-2 million at launch and are constantly downplayed that out of 65 million PS4 owners is considered 'niche', but, 120,000 to 100 million Steam users is 'good'. Ironic.
I agree with Morrowwind, but, that was 2 generations ago. Their engine needs an upgrade and they have suffered a lot more major glitches than any other big publisher. They're literally referred to as Bugthesda for a reason. If they're releasing their next big project in 2019, those same publishers that they are competing with will probably be releasing new games and will have further updated their engines further as well. Small companies don't have the luxury to work on multiple versions. Also Atlus, Tecmo Koei, Bandai Namco and NIS have released games on the 360 and they have the sales data to prove Xbox customers don't support these games. How else do you explain how the Switch which is literally has a 1/4 of the units of hardware sold compared to Xbox is getting stuff like the new Blazblue cross over?
