Using the disclaimer that the game is too similar to other shows and movies and prejudging based off of a limited demo is beyond idiotic. Newsflash EVERY game has some element similar to one another, but, what makes it different are their take on those elements. As the complaint that its too similar, to what exactly? How about playing the games first? It's dumb to criticize the game for not being enough like something or too like something. Not everyone has to like Sony games, but, having an opinion of how good or bad something is without actually playing it first is idiotic. That means at 700,000 units a month roughly since launch, it would put Xbox One at roughly 30.2 million units by the end of June. It's fallen behind pace of the Xbox 360.

Almost 20% of PS4 sales are the Pro unit. So that will be roughly 4 million units in a calender year.
Yeah except that PS4 has had a couple dozen exclusives and many AAA's this year already, whereas Xbox has 3 AAA the whole year. PS4 already has easily over a dozen more releases rolling into next spring. What does Xbox got rolling into next year? Sea of Thieves. Nothing else and with Spencer saying the other exclusives are 2-3 years out means very little in the pipeline whereas PS4 has many more games in the pipeline from 3rd party companies along with 1st party to fill the gap.
The other system that has more game options and the same 4K checkerboarding. More people to game with as well. Also cheaper so its much easier to sell.
That was Sony leveraging how much Disney wanted to have Spidey in the MCU and Disney stands to make over a billion dollars in merchandise sales when the Spiderman launches. Sony is playing ball with Disney and leveraging that to get the exclusive Spiderman game made. Whereas Fox isn't going to play ball at all so Disney will continue to try to kill the Xmen till they do.

If anything Marvel will branch out and get their games on to as many systems as possible. So exclusives for Marvel seem rather doubtful, just look at the Square Enix deal for Avengers. If anything Sony only has this exclusive as they leveraged how much Disney wanted Spiderman in the MCU. Disney will make billions on Spiderman merchandise alone so there is a huge payoff.
On Xbox Spiderman is Zero K as its not even an option, so I am pretty sure that is far worse.
At $500 that seems rather doubtful
None of these games are region locked though. You can import them. The only problem is the language barrier.
