Agreed. If Guerrila didn't take the risk we could have been playing Killzone again which I also like, but, Horizon was a breath of fresh air. Ditto for Naughty Dog making The Last of Us and Suckerpunch recently announcing Ghost of Tsukishima.
Uhh what? Unless you are 100% new to Xbox its NOT just $500. The original Xbox was $500 + another $500 to replace it for the X then 4 years of live is $200. That's $1200. If you are going to piece together keyboard etc in your garbage PC comparison. You could get a much better PC for $1200.

You know this release has been hyped to hell. Its NOT even close to recent releases. My launch PS4 bundle had 450 units in my store. The Switch at launch had 250. How much Xbox One X did we get? 60!

It was hyped up though. Just to give you a frame of reference my store only received about 60 Xbox X units total whereas at launch we had 250 Switch systems all sold out within a day. You could still get the X in my store days from release and with only 60 units versus the Switchs 250 its no contest. Not even close. Heck my Destiny Launch PS4 bundle 2 years ago had 450 units in my store. Both the PS4 and Switch releases recently destroyed Xbox One X!
If money was the only thing that was important then how come you got the LEAST games to play?! The Switch had more exclusives this year than Xbox.
PS4 had crossplay first with games like FF XIV and has play anywhere between PS3, PS4 and Vita for awhile. Those services don't change the fact that PS4 has significantly more games to play. Its a GAME system, so Xbox has their priorities wrong when that is the last thing they are concentrating on. Other than 4k gaming all those features have been around for while now and NOTHING has changed. Why would those features tip the scale now?! Xbox has won what 2-3 months in 4 YEARS of sal...
Thats a puny launch. The store I work at had like 60 units for the X. Just for comparison our Switch launch we had 250 units.
Its not even close. My store only had maybe 60 units of the Scorpio and regular units combined (Biggest store of 9 in the city). The Nintendo Switch launch we had 2450 units. The Switch had a huge launch in comparison.
Your math needs some work buddy. The PS4 over 6 months accounted for 36% whereas Xbox had 21% that works out to a ratio of 1.71: 1. Also consider how much more competing products are on PS4 exclusively and that is pretty amazing. Companies only care how many millions of units more are sold NOT ratios and percentages. If you work out the actual amount the PS4 had $70 million more sales than Xbox. Do you think $70 million is some small amount?! Idiotic.
I think the most surprising thing was the Switch at 19% versus Xbox One 20%!

There already are they are more costly however. By the time new systems arrive the prices should come down.
PS4 had a far more promising future though. Sony has far better 1st party studios and the last 3 years of 360 were full of kinect games and some terrible franchise sequals. Far more people bought in looking at how Sony supports their systems. Look at the last years of PS3 were some of the best with new IPs like The Last of Us and sequals to their best franchises.

If you can afford a 4K TV and already have the original Xbox then you could have just bought a PC for cheaper then both the original One or One S then Xbox X. Especially when you consider how much more games are available on PC.
