You know digital is not always cheaper. Maybe you just suck at shopping around. For example where I'm at. Prototype in stores is $19.99 versus on PSN $49.99. Paranormal Activity VR is $29.99 in stores versus $54.49 on PSN. Prices are NOT better digitally. Other than the the odd sale.
You should want more options then. For example I had a customer recently want to buy the Prototype bundle with a PSN card. On the network its $49.99 and I said why not buy it from my store for $19.99 and he did a double take. Yeah at EB Games/ Gamestop it was $19.99 versus $49.99 on the network. So yeah more options are good. Regardless of what you think of Gamestop/EB Games its clear that more options is good.
@Shineon
Games cost a lot to make and putting more effort when the sales aren't there makes absolutely no sense. Bottom line if it doesn't make you extra money its probably not worth doing. Its a business not a charity. 4K updates do have cost associated with it and when it comes down to it if the cost if prohibitively high and the benefit is low then its not worth doing.
Whoa lets no put the cart before the horse there. How does Xpass even get compared to Netflix? Netflix can literally be used on billions of devices and they have an amazing amount of subscribers. They got 8.8 million just around Christmas alone. Xbox won't be anywhere near that kind of volume.
Hopefully Nintendo does their online right. As of right now their online needs a lot of work. Even their chat options are terrible.
Probably not. It doesn't really benefit Capcom to spend more money to make the Xbox version better when it will garner the least sales. Unless the extra cost translates into greater sales.
@Krib
And what does your digital purchase history have to do with Xbox users in general? The last data from EA suggests that only 20-25% of their sales are digital. Their a multibillion company with lots of sales data to go on. Whenever we get low Xbox sales the usual excuse is because Xbox customers buy more digital games. Guess what when you add 30% to poor sales the sales are still just as bad.
As for you not agreeing to my observations. Our store...
But if they release it within the next year when 2022 comes around it would be right in time for their remaster of the Kingdom Hearts.
@Krib
"this has shades of Newmondays claim that the sales data he had from his store and the whole midwest was that the PS4 crushed the switch and xbox in december....only his inside info ended up wrong"
Just like how anytime something sells poorly on Xbox that its because all Xbox people are buying it digitally.
Didn't Nintendo themselves estimate 16 million by then end of the calender year? Their fiscal year end is March 2018.
My twin brother would. Taki is her main character.
I think who ever has a say should change the description. Xianghua should be from Peking NOT Beijing like the description says. In ancient times that would be the correct name.
I think so too. For my store for every copy we had preodered on Xbox we had 5 preorders on PS4. Its goinf to do extremely sell for Playstation.
@Thinkthink
Np. Just an observation based on years of customers among the various platforms and seeing the trends. As for the game, I am joining you! This is also my very first Monster Hunter game as well! Hope it goes well for both of us!
A new Raidou game is exactly what I thought too. The last one was on PS2.
Weird that you believe that. Monster Hunter has always done well on PS and Nintendo platforms. In fact even looking at my stores preorders for every copy we got preordered on Xbox we had 5 copies preordered for PS4. Its going to be a landslide sales in favour of PS4.
4K or not. Xbox has been lacking for years. They deserve the criticism. Sony and Nintendo are loaded up for the foreseeable future and both of them have plenty of 3rd party exclusives to supplement their fantastic 1st party offerings. They have built up studios and tried new IPs and succeeded. While Xbox has done what during that time? That's years of missed opportunities.
@Sunny
" Stole? Where is your proof that they did not license the track?"
If you actually read the Reddit post that was linked in the article the poster specifically says he reached out to Naughty Dog and they said they were unaware that Netflix had used their track and are looking into it. So yeah I would agree 'stole' is 100% the right words. If the game producer themselves are unaware of its use then it definitely was not licensed t...
Why give MS a free pass though? If games take 3-4 years to develop then wtf were they doing the last 4 years? Its on them to hire and spend accordingly. If Nintendo and Sony can do that whats Xbox excuse? Not only are we talking about year 5 in this gen Xbox is on the 3rd system generation. The money they made from Xbox live for example could have already paid and staffed multiple studios.
I find it weird that the article suggests that theirs not much innovation when we got games like Dreams, Concrete Jungle, Inpatient PSVR, Moss PSVR etc out this year. Then goes on to suggest this year is Nintendos. How come there's no similar complaint about the Switch 'lacking innovation'?!

@Zeref
" So why does Netflix have 80million subscribers if "the math doesn't add up"?"
Answered your own question right there. Xbox won't have anywhere near the kind of numbers Netflix does.
