I can see why it would have a shorter development cycle, it's using the same engine as the original it looks like and they are likely getting a lot of funding this time around. The first, while an absolutely phenomenal game, seemed somewhat unfinished as the final battle/ending felt rushed and a lot of core Batman villains were unrepresented.
This shouldn't give as much hell as Left 4 Dead 2, because they never promised DLC unlike Valve and they actually gave us a lot of free go...
No offense Spoony, but I wish more people would follow hatchimatchi mentality. Seems like 90% of this site is judgmental of a review before getting their hands on the game (See Gametrailer's UC2 review).
Back on topic, I really had high hopes for Crystal Bearers and I'll still read more reviews first, especially because I've never been a fan of Game Informers reviews. The magazine has great info, but their review team is just too haphazard, and seems to alternate between overra...
I don't need an HD Wii. I have a 360 and PS3 for that.
That's not to say that I don't like my Wii, or that I wouldn't upgrade to an HD one. It's just not necessary. I bought my Wii the very day it came out and I don't regret it at all. There are too many unique games (Goo, Galaxy, King's Story, NMH, Brawl) for me to even think about getting rid of it.
Well maybe for some people, but two of my most eagerly anticipated 2010 games are Cave Story and this.
I thought I was going to get an amazing arcade title for each of my consoles this year, but it looks like only Pixeljunk made the established release date.
As soon as Nintendo, Microsoft, Rare, and ActiBlizz (Who own the Bond lisense currently) make an agreement, let me know.
Hint: My guess is that it'll release sometime around never.
*sigh* My most played class gets an update last.
Here's to you, Engineer.
Pretty sure Guitar Hero sells best on Wii, so no surprise here.
Really hate to be those 100,000 kids on Christmas day (Assuming at least 14,000 of those are idiot adults). Glad my parents knew what was crap and what wasn't back in the day.
Scribblenauts really should be removed. The only reason the game sold and was generally well received was due to hype. However, upon playing it, anyone can see that just because the game has a great gimmick doesn't make it good. The control scheme completely ruined that game for me.
Instead, why not Professor Layton (And bump it up a few spots for good measure...)? It was an absolutely fantastic DS game, especially when compared to Scribblenauts.
No idea what this site is, but they are just begging for hits. This is a flamebait title if I ever saw one.
30 degrees? Seriously?
I thought this was big news?
That so-called "kiddy console" is kicking Sony and Microsoft's ass this gen. Payback is nice for what happened Gamecube gen.
I have bought at least 6 games on my DS in the past 5 months, but the only thing I bought on PSP was Dissidia.
If the PSP doesn't get anything good in 2010, then I may end up getting rid of it. Sony needs to quit being so lazy with PSP support.
Demigod as well. I haven't played Demigod, but between the other 3 (LoL, HoN, and DotA), Newerth seems to be the winner for me. I can't play DotA anymore because of the numerous enhancements Newerth brings to the table, and LoL I always had a community problem with. It seemed like every game I played (Roughly 10 before I moved on) there was a feeder or trash talker. I barely ever have that issue in Newerth.
Well I've clearly been here the longest but I'm tired of this avatar. Take it copycats.
Needs Tony Hawk Ride.
Sorry fanboys, I'll be enjoying God of War III AND Bayonetta.
Why b**** and moan about the nuances of each when you can just play both?
Only game I bought this year on PSP was Dissidia. Poor PSP is getting the shelf until Birth By Sleep it seems.
Civilization V has my guess. It's been a long time since Civ4 was released.
I'm on his side, though my disability is physical. Only thing I can't play are a few Wii games though, which doesn't bother me that much.
