There are plenty of these Sony guys that actually think all Sony games are 1080p. Mind you they dont even know the difference between native and upscaling.

2 gig is the new size limit for Arcade games. The new Red Alert arcade game is 2 gig. The list of full retail games on games on demand keeps growing and growing. PSN has some nice stuff too but it seems that Arcade is going to have more choices. And the cool thing about it is you dont have to be a gold member to buy any of these games.
Any publicly traded company wants to monopolize if they can. The mandate for all publicly traded companies is profits every quarter. You can not be serious if you think that Sony and Nintendo dont want to rule it all.

Firefight alone is worth the 60.00. That has some serious replay value. It is is even getting some of my friends back into halo. Mainly becuase of the non competitive firefight mode.
If this were just the campaign I would I agree with the 'just dlc' thing. With the addition of firefight and the Halo maps on a second disk it is well worth the 60.00.

There plenty of excellent non-shovelware games for the Wii. There is easily 15-20 games out there for a hard core gamer such as yourself. Go to a dedicated Nintendo forum and ask around. Or google a top 10 or top 20 list of games for the Wii.

ODST numbers are pretty impressive considering it is only on one console.
HD gaming is why they cost more. Consider the following:
1- PS1 games were about a million dollars to make. We paid 50.00 for it and they developer had a good chance of breaking even or making a profit.
2- ps2 and xbox1 games went up to about 5 million, sometimes 7 million to make and we paid 50.00. Those same developers still stand a decent chance to make a profit ot break even.
3-ps3 and 360 games are 20 to 60 millions dollars to develop. We pay 60.00. Now you see that ...
