Keep it up. Good read!
Gamers in a way are ruining the industry. Not all of us off course, just the ones who whine about the games themselves, and want them changed to a point where they wont be challenging anymore.
Piracy could greatly effect gaming even more if we don't watch it.
Gaming is all about choice. While some of the "look at me I'm dissing COD so that makes me militant" crowd doesn't seem to understand is that you don't have to play those kind o...
Then maybe Zipper needs to work on a sequel and add some more features to it..
They are just counting on their fanbase not wanting to give up what they earned on Xbox Live.
The ironic thing is that a lot of people who want to have intellectual conversations about video games, don't actually play them regularly. They lack the skill so they try to make up for it by turning something simple into a complicated mess.
I have found that video game development is worth discussing in great detail over the gameplay itself. Gameplay experiences can be given very quickly so most people won't go on and on about how the game made them feel etc.
People don't seem to realize the difference between doing what you want with the hardware and doing what you want with the software. You can modify your PS3 to do whatever you want, as long as doing so doesn't allow you to infringe on copyright laws with the content. If that happens then Sony has every right to stop you.
Piracy is the number one enemy of copyright laws. I'm sure if you created something and decided to sell it, once you figured out that people were...
The only way I can see how Achievements changed gaming forever is that you really have no choice but to earn them. Same with Trophies, as you can earn them just by completing levels.
Those were my exact thoughts when I saw that pic earlier, until I seen the same one spread out. When you look at Rage, it looks like an amped up Borderlands. Nothing wrong with that at all, mind you because the game still looks good. The issue is that way to many people WANT Rage to look better than KZ3. That is where arguments like this always lead. It should be obviously that Rage is Cell Shading to the next level. I love how people confuse bright colors with graphical quality lol.
He obviously hasn't played GOW 3. Probably has the "I don't have too" mentality. Hopefully I will play Lords of Shadow at PAX next week and see if it competes with the ALmighty GOW..
The franchise desperately needs a good game for a comeback..
Well you can do stuff like that in Mirror's Edge, only with less effort in Brink. Thats not groundbreaking for me. That is why ME was so good, it was the fact that you are actually pulling off all those wall jumps, slides, etc by yourself. If you could just point and click all that the game would lose its appeal.
In Brink's defense, having to concentrate on doing those parkour type moves might take your mind off the shooting.
You're right. He looks like he was just asked the same question for the last time lol
Very cool!
Sometimes the things that are true hurt the most..
Ok, now it is.
Couldn't agree more!
Be careful what you wish for..lol
Good experiment. Keep it coming so we all know what we are buying.
Yes that would be cool, and your point is???
Swapping engines, drive trains, etc isn't customization because those factors change the performance of the car. Adding a decal to the vehicle does not change how your care handles, etc. The GT series only allowed you to change the color of a car, so taking that further would be a first for the franchise.
I thought the point of driving is to not damage your car. Who cares if the damage is unrealistic. I hope when I play GT5 my car doesn't look like a POS at the end of a race.
