Ex Halo player, so I know exactly why I don't like Halo anymore. Reach does seem pretty cool though, just not enough to get me back into it.
You mean Halo. Which really isn't the best just loved by sheep.
Then why are they saying you have to control background noise for??
I've said this before and I will say it again. Sites weren't the only ones reviewing Move. Sony had tons of blog events where the averages joe can play it. I went to one in Seattle and was sold on it based off of Socom 4 gameplay. Besides it getting good reviews Playstation fans were raving about it as well because they actually played the thing in a reasonable time frame before its launch.
Technically Kinect and the Wii are rip offs since Sony was researching motion control 10 years ago. Yet another fact that seems to be overshadowed.
Even if it does sell well, I believe Kinect will see a lot of returns. There are way to many factors that could interrupt how you game with Kinect, and the average non gamer could see them as technical difficulties. I'm sure Kinect will have those too, but lets just say you live by an overpass and the traffic is loud enough to disrupt the voice recognition.
Things like that...
I couldn't agree more. The tribalism you speak of comes from the ability to game with massive amounts of people of like mind, thanks to the Internet. We all know what happens when you fill a room (virtual or not) with people who think the same, right? They start going to war with other tribes. I find it tiresome to try and define what kind of gamer I am because I don't believe I should have too.
Doesn't take much talent to play a guitar real fast and scream in the mic either. lol
Yea, censored lyrics would bother me after a while. Probably just fill in the blanks especially if you know the song already.
A year ago or so you wrote a comment on an article I wrote about video game journalism. Since then your site is on our blog roll and I have to say your site's Move review is very good. Great job guys.
I agree. I haven't had any interest in COD since I stopped played COD4
Keep in mind also that Sony held tons of Blog events for the Move well before it released. In other words, the public got a chance to "review" the Move too.
That was a great game!
Lets see if any of this information will get to the average consumer before they decide on purchasing it. I highly doubt it.
It's just in September. The title here on N4G is misleading.
You are right. It's also the reason the Wii got on top in the first place. It's amazing to me that the PS3 got as far as it has at the price it started the generation at.
I have played some of the best games in my life thanks to PS3 Exclusives. I don't feel like sore loser at all. If you want to play the numbers game all Sony really has to do is lower the price again.
Look at all the disagrees. You can tell Greenburg rallied the troops today lol
Played this in Seattle at a blog event. Sold me on Move when it comes to shooters. Now I just have to get my hands on one lol.
Everyone in here is speaking my language. In 2007 Sony and Nintendo stated they would change from shipped to sales, so we know people actually have them in their homes. All you really have to do is pay attention to the world around you instead of the Internet sometimes. Look at the 360, the average owner went through at least 3 consoles. I even heard of a guy who went through 13. The point is this proves to me that MS was somehow counting their broken consoles as sales, and that accounts for ...
