How was their E3 "non casual focused"? I didn't know having a good E3 showing made them not casual anymore.
When Nintendo was at the top Gaming was a niche hobby. Gamers weren't taken seriously because it was something viewed as childish. Kids and young teens don't buy games, so they have to have their parents do it for them. Sony has done more for gaming because they found a way to get adults into playing games. You know the ones with the jobs?
Nintendo is a great company but lots of adult gamers have simply outgrown what they have to offer. There is NOTHING wrong with th...
Both sides whine and moan equally. All you have to do is follow a hot story, then an argument about who whines and moans more will start.
What a vicious cycle N4G is. lol
Wonder what the secret could be??
Not every game is going to sell like hot cakes. As long as you personally enjoy it then there really is no problem. In the case of Alan Wake, 360 fans used it as ammo in flame wars about 360/PS3 exclusives. I'm sure they weren't planning on buying the game at all.
So if you read comments before the Alan Wake was released it sounded like lots of people were going to buy it, but probably didn't.
Just like i expected.
I like it so far too.
But the thing is, they don't start lol. If you are constantly putting out new ideas you don't have to worry about milking a few of them.
I'm glad its making a comeback of sorts. Unfortunately I had a bad first impression of the console. Someone i knew back in the days had one and when I was watching them play it, every game would freeze.
But "Parody" is in the title...
lol
Why does everything have to be a war?
Poor baby. Hey I have an idea, lets act like video games are serious business. Lets put it up on the same level as fighting diseases, social injustice, etc. If you can't have fun playing games, or in some cases poking fun at the culture, you really should find another hobby. I play games to relieve stress and to have fun. Not to RELIVE stress and to ruin other's fun. I swear gamers are taking the fun out of gaming lol.
If the PSP2 doubles as a phone like its rumored too, I'm sorry but the 3DS will not end it at all.
I think Nintendo did a very good job at E3, but I cant say I was surprised by their lineup. If they pitched a good amount of new games that honestly appealed to me I would say they took the show.
Sony has also stated that PSN + is a evolving service, so more features are probably on the way. Hopefully that doesn't affect the pricing, but if the new features are worth it (like Cloud Game Saves, etc) then people will still pay for it
They did a very good job, but I wouldn't go as far as saying they owned E3. No one really owned E3 in my opinion.
yessssss
As long as Infamous 2 is better than Infamous in every way, I'll be a happy gamer.
ummm I agree but to a point. What if a developer decided to post a game's new features by tweeting them? You saying journalists shouldn't go with the story because it was a tweet??
He needs hits guys. Plain and simple lol
