Thinking the same about you posts. Apparently Sony can't change the OS before they put it in a new Model. No need to firmware update anything if you release a model that doesn't have those features in the first place..

Which Sony can change whenever they want when they release a new MODEL. Why take out BC for the fat slims if they were planning on releasing an adapter for the other PS3s on the market (Slims).Why would you need it if you had a launch PS3???
You can't tell me that it would be hard for Sony to leave the internal memory card feature out of the OS.
People with FAT PS3s can because Sony would have to come into your house and redesign it to make it not BC. Launch PS3s actually had PS1 and PS2 architecture in them, so BC was on a hardware level. They took those components out to make the Slim cheaper. Why would they leave that feature in since it would be useless on a Slim? You haven't wondered why they Slims aren't backwards compatible haven't you?
Yeah, but that doesn't mean the Slims, which can't play PS1 or PS2 games, should have that feature. A lot of people were wondering why they did that, and this adapter could be the answer.
just wait until Gran Turismo 5. Its cool that Reach is selling well, but someone needs to silence the ones who think that the 360 can take on the competition with just one exclusive game.
