Bad news for those with poor interenet connections, it's just like the whole Blu-ray vs digital download, the network infastructure is just not there yet to supply enough people with the necessary speed/bandwidth.

Also this would make reviewing a game quite complicated, do you review just the content on the disc or with all/some of the DLC? I get the feeling that people won't let go of their full production on one disc quite yet.

Sadly it's true that the masses will only buy something with a familar face plastered on the cover but that shouldn't stop developers from creating new IPs. After all some of the big hitters now started as new IPs in this gen: Gears of War, InFamous, LBP, Uncharted, to name a few.

Demon's Souls was a completely new IP as well as thoroughly inaccessible but sold on the back of its excellent gameplay and new found cult status as one of the hardest games on current ...

All I'm saying is give the Move a little credit sheesh, if you're really interested in it then judge it on it's own merits. It's a fantastic bit of kit and Wii or no Wii it would be doing just as well for itself.

It might be just me but i'm having trouble grasping the point of your arguments. Are you downplaying the successful launch of Move because you think accuracy doesn't matter to the casuals? I never argued agaisnt that point if you were. Also...

Well it IS doing well no matter how you see it and the argument that Nintendo is somehow responsible for Moves success... well... it's just plain wrong. Obviously Nintendo popularised motion controls but people aren't buying Move because they are slightly familiar with it. I'd say it's biggest selling point is the accuracy and depth sensing capabilities both of which are lacking from any Wii endeavor. The core gamers are the ones that buy first in most cases followed by the...

"Deleopers"? lol you know what I meant :P

For my disagrees: Don't you think that it's impressive? I mean, I know SC was priced lower than your average game but you still have to buy new hardware to play it. All I was saying is that it's a decent start fo Move games and I hope more DEVELOPERS *checks spelling* take advantage of the hardware.

That sounds awesome, I was afraid of a weak sequel but it sounds like they're really uping the gameplay. Also cat woman might as well have been confirmed as a playable character WHOOPAH!

So if Halo:Reach wasn't out Sports Champions would be number 1, that's amazing for a peripheral added half way through the consoles lifecycle. If this isn't incentive for deleopers to get cracking on Move enabled games then I don't know what is.

Considering how easy it is for developers to implement Move control and the small processor footprint, it's not surprising that more and more devs will opt to include support for their future releases.

I'm sure Team Ico could find some very interesting uses for the hardware.

Thanks, I will get round to playing RE5 and HR soon but I think everyone will have had a good play around with them by then so it might be a bit redundant. Have been giving R.U.S.E it's fair turn today and should get some opinions up soon.

@Checkmate Also thanks :)

Don't think mine is quite up to their standards but its not bad for a first try :)

I wish sites would hold judgement on this game until they've had in depth play using the Move controller. I want to know how it handles but not one review has really went into depth about it. There's also the issue of wether or not to do a seperate PS3, Move enabled review, which would be excellent but a bit more work on the reviewing sites behalf...

...and we wouldn't want that would we?

Totally agree, I find that a game is easier to platinum if I enjoy it. I consider myself a trophy whore but I'd never play a game I didn't like just because of an easy plat.

Pick my Move up this friday, may possibly blog about using it with Sports Champions and RUSE for anyone interested. Was hoping Socom was gonna be a launch title but if they need time to make it even better then so be it.

Tumble might be worth a DL too :)

I'm really looking forward to this game I just hope they don't have too many multiplayer related trophies. I had great fun hunting down all the riddler stuff and doing the challenges in first one for that coveted platinum trophy. I don't want to have to spend 300+ hours in MP to get the plat for Arkham City.

I caught the new ad on UK TV last night, still no KB for us :( but it did a good job (the ladies present asked me about it) and was on during a popular show, which i'm not gonna admit to half watching ;P

slightly more OT: This is great news for Sony, Germany loves the Move...

...and Hasselhoff.

With all the games coming out this Autumn/Winter I was going to pass on this one but this preview has me second guessing myself. The way Gamesradar are hyping it you'd think Ninja Theory had their families held ransom! To be fair they do state that there's a chance things might not turn out as great as they say but still they seem fairly convinced this game will be excellent.

Either way it's at least back on my 'games radar' (sorry) and I will be reading...

As much of a pain as it is I believe that publishers have every right to do this. They SHOULDN'T... but they could, after all Move is a new feature and not part of the original purchase price of the game. However if an upcoming game advertises Move compatibility in the future it would be unwise for publishers to charge extra for the pleasure.

If anything though I believe near-future Move ONLY games will probably be discounted, as sales may be underwhelming due to not ev...
