Yeah it does seem fair to reward the fans but they also need people with no bias toward to game, chances are they would be a little more critical and honest. There was nothing stopping the official forum posters from doing the same as I did and I'm guessing they were informed ahead of time.
I personally will make sure to sign up and leave feedback should I get into the beta. Of course they could easily send out a quick e-mail asking people for their thoughts after/half ...
Wait... is that first slim 360 red dotting? pause it around 1:03 o_0
OT: I'm from the UK so I'm not 100% sure what the customers of Macy's are stereotypically like but I don't imagine them being gamers right?

By luck? Is there a random draw also? Like I said, I took a half day from work to sit in front of my tv going in and out of the PS store to make sure I had a theme as soon as possible. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who did so and we weren't leaving anything to luck.
Hopefully I'll have my fancy new Android phone with 720p vid recording by then so yeah, I'll try and upload some vids and blog about it... if I got in.
What stopped yo...
No actually, nobody HAD to start anything but you went ahead anyway, was the urge to troll really so powerful?
OT: I agree with Mukerr that it's far to early to have a face-off of any kind. I believe both will find a place in the market to settle and the 'winner' will be determined by many different parameters. Making for a heated discussion but ultimately it will come down to personal preference just like most things in gaming/life.
If it makes it before the end of the year then 2010 will have yet another Sony exclusive GOTY, at least in my eyes anyway.
That image is creepy, kinda looks like he's being 'groomed' by that guy.
There's a little truth to that actually, taken direct from play.com:
"Please Note: Supplies of this product are extremely limited and are under allocation by Microsoft."
I don't see why MS would deliberately withhold stock, it's probably just that they can't manufacture enough to meet demand? maybe?
Edit: OK *looks at disagrees*, maybe not i was merely speculating. It just seems odd that Play.com would mention limit...
Awesome, the speed on this guy is incredible. I didn't even know you could slo-mo shoot grenades right out of the air over enemies heads, gonna boot the demo up now and have a blast :)
Yeah, who do Sony think they are, not being able to control tax structures around the world? I mean c'mon, they should just drive round India throwing PS3s off the back of a van to the poor and class them as sales so they can tweet about it and get fanboys to brag. /Über sarcasm
Kinect gets a bad wrap from the 'hardcore' community for good reason. There is nothing that Kinect can do that will make an appealing game to them. I'm not arguing Kinects quality at all but it is in no way a "game changer". As far as real games go it's scope is very limited and until MS prove otherwise with a playable game demo of something 'hardcore' there's no reason for any gamer to buy into the mind numbing hype other than a distraction for their k...
The developer support has not been shown yet, games speak louder than words and nobody has seen any yet. Even Rovio has spoken out against the platform and has no plans to bring angry birds over to WP7.
Android and iOS have a proven repertoire of apps and games, they probably needn't worry too much about MS phones they don't have a great record at all.
True but how can people be indifferent to a piece of hardware they know absolutely nothing about? At least let Sony confirm themselves that they actually are making a PSP2 before passing judgment on it.
Yeah but on the plus side they might be included in some January sales ;P also there should be a lot more content by then, not to mention Killzone 3 right round the corner.
@slugboss so you aren't going to enjoy any new gaming experiences until holodecks are invented in stardate 12345.69? Also why bring up motion gaming? Tumble is the only game I can think of that currently uses motion plus 3D together and it's a brilliant experience.
There is truly something great about 3D and games. The two technologies fit together so well and add a depth, which not only looks amazing, but actually helps you to judge distance in game.
3D TVs are already starting to drop in price and the plasma ones are in a average consumer friendly zone right now, 50" for < £1000 @ Currys. If you still just think it's a gimmick then by all means pass as 3D is an option but for the people that are willing to give it a ...
I am not excited for Kinect at all more anxious that if it succeeds we will see less focus on future 'core' 360 games. I've had my 360 since launch (minus 2x RROD) and I don't want to see it turn into a platform for shovelware. MS don't have many first party studios and if they all focus on Kinect games then where are the exclusive AAAs going to come from?
Obviously Kinect is not aimed at me or, probably, most of the people that visit this site but if I ...
You seem to have fallen into the same mindframe as a lot of people, who think quantity of sales equates to the quality of the game. Please don't make me perpetuate the saying that [insert pop star name here] sells a lot of CDs but do they make better music? too late ¬_¬
I think Klipz-Wish is right in saying that competition between exclusives can generate quality in games and even, in the case of Forza, spawn completely new IPs.
This is the third negative PS3 article I've seen in the last couple of days from product reviews, starting to think they're opinion is biased. Seriously look at the last few article titles submitted, it's pretty obvious, shame on them.
Monkey Island or any point and click games would be excellent with Move.
It's likely that it will be considering flight control HD was compatible. Also I hope they create Move specific gameplay elements and birds.
