Sorry I just have to point out the irony that Rocksteady are the developers behind Batman:AA, which, IMO, was highly UNDERrated :)
Whether or not Sony makes that target the Playstation brand is still very strong no matter how you spin it. I can see from your comment history that you are just troliing though so I don't even know why i'm replying to you. Nice try though.

OT: Corporate control has killed/gimped more games than anything in this industry and publishers need to realise the correlation between the freedom a developer is given and the quality of the end product.

It was surprisingly hard to find a picture of a castle in Castlevania ¬_¬ had to settle for concept art.
lol yeah The Last Guardian does seem like a favourite with gamers. I wasn't implying that BM:AC should be GOTY 2011 just that I have high hopes that the game will be excellent :)
It may not be GOTY material but the story is pretty decent. It's loosely based on an ancient chinese novel called 'Journey to the west' http://static.gamesradar.co... and, with it being directed by Andy Serkis, I can see it being decent. Probably should have just made a movie :|
I would still probably be very happy with this game if it included no MP at all. Arkham Asylum would have been a front runner in my personal GOTY last year, had Uncharted 2 not been released, I have very high hopes for Arkham City.
There were "concerns" for the future of Kinect well before Project Milo was cancelled.
The 'iffy' tech demos, game glitches, 'staged' showings, completely casual launch line-up, the many youtube fail videos, removal of cpu, removal of voice support at lunch, the cost etc.
That being said the pre-orders are reported to be high so maybe it's still what the casual consumer is looking for. After all Kinect has been targeted at them ...
Yes Portal is funny and with Steve Merchant in the sequel it looks to continue that trend :)
One of my funniest moments in gaming was shooting a guy in the crotch and watching him drop, clutching them in agony in Goldeneye (N64).
Glitches are neary always hilarious.

Monkey Island WAS pretty funny, so were a lot of those point-and-click adventures back in the day. They lost some of their charm when they went 3D though, hoping Move will be used to bring back some more classics or create some new ones.

Mine. Not as good as some of those but I'm pretty proud ^_^
whoopsie wrong reply
Well said Action Bastard, bub+
I have played quite a bit of Sports Champions now and I can see what Shuhei Yoshida is talking about. Going from bronze to silver/gold tournaments takes away some of the aim assists making the game a little harder but more rewarding when you do succeed.
My shoes are diconnected, next to my Playstation?
Agreed, it will aslo act as an even greater deterrent for companies to create new IPs once they have found one that they can milk. As well as possibly create a rich-poor divide in multiplayer/co-op games and open an even bigger door to in-game advertisements.
I don't see the point in creating a real time version of a movie, at the end of the day it's still a movie. What benefit would it give the viewers? They would need a much better engine than UE3 to stand next to the Disney-Pixar and Dreamworks titles.
Ah very true, did't think of it like that. So what would gaming websites and magazines do with their time? I suppose they could review the paid parts of games but again that would be convoluted.
I feel that MOH has taken a bad rap lately what with crazy xenohobic politicians and people judging the full game by a closed beta.
The game looks excellent and easily on par with the COD series, I have yet to test the gameplay but with DICE at the helm of the multiplayer it should be spot on come launch. The single player campaign also looks to incorporate stealth and tactics more than most shooters of this kind do and could possibly lead to some excellent gaming moments. ...
Come on people stop bickering now, whether or not each motion control is worth the price is just a matter of opinion. The whole Move is more expensive when you want four players' arguement is flawed as it's extra functionality that Kinect can't achieve. Well actually i'm not sure about that but isn't it true that Kinect can recognise up to six people but only two 'in game'? Also theres a lot of games that use the hotseat option so Kinect and Move can use those wi...
