I downloaded it for Android today, it's much better than the other free trophy apps I've tried before. Haven't had a good look through all the features yet though.
Gotta say, the beta was great, I went from having little to no interest in the game to considering making a £10/month commitment.
While that does sound like a good solution in the meantime, I'm hoping the rumours are true and Sony ARE in fact in talks with Google to bring GoogleTV to the PS3... also here in Europe!
I'm loving the fact I don't need to turn my PS3 off or switch to another device to instantly watch BBC iPlayer, 4oD or ITV. Looking forward to future developments.
Edit:@dangert12 Ah yes, I forgot to mention Lovefilm. I was never a member until I decided to test...
controllers.
They aren't kidding, there's so many games in the first 3 months I'm having a really hard time deciding which to do first or at all.
*looks at bills*
Pah, I can do without food for a while right?
I think Playstation exclusives have gone from beautiful but unrealised potential to pushing the limitations of graphical and technical achievements. I can easily see the jumps between each year the playstation has been on the market in every new exclusive. Sonys first party developers have literally taken a console close to being buried under negative press, lackluster launch titles and turned it into a gamers must have hardware in the space of 4/5 years.
Just goes to show w...
Sadly I have to agree with you there. I don't think it's blatant bias but because the Xbox is considered 'most popular' here in the UK, the media here plays to their greater audience.
A rubbish rag like the Metro literally HAS to do these kind of things and give away their paper for free just so people might read it.
Games? ...games? ...GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMES! !!!
I'd say sales figures are only important in the infancy of a consoles lifetime, well, hardware at least. In those early days it gives an indication of whether or not the third party support will be great enough to carry the platform while first party studios are getting to grips with the hardware.
Right now, all three consoles have such an established install base that there's almost no point in tracking sales as close as people do, other than for puerile Internet ar...
Oh my, a Kinect website using the Move pun cliché title! Is that allowed?
Just do what the smart people are doing and click the little grey 'vgchartz.com +' link under the 'read full story' link and vote this site down.
I think a lot of people have been doing this for months but I doubt the mods will ever ban this site as it generates too much troll traffic.
edit: @Aghostfrom It's VGchartz backwards ¬_¬
Actually they are from Bulletstorm and Duke Nukem but I could imagine them being regurgitated for a 'lowest common denominator' game like Black Ops.
It's not that a good bit of humour and low-brow antics aren't welcome, it's just there's so many games that appeal to adolescent teenage boys, you get kinda sick of it all.
*sigh* another internet blogger trying his hardest to be Charlie Brooker. Heavy Rain may not be Shakespeare but it's a breathe of fresh air in a world where most protagonists lines are "son of a dick" and "eat shit and die".
Good blog, I see where you're coming from but "the great divide" as you put it, was well in place before MS or Sony got involved. I'd wager there was probably bad blood in the seventies when the Magnavox Odyssey and Atari versions of Pong were number 1 at ye olde gamestoppe. Let's not forget the Windows-Mac rivalry that is still being fought today and probably forever, sort of like if Chuck Norris traveled back in time to fight himself.
I think maybe y...
For those that don't know, The Metro is a free rag in the UK. It's mostly left on subway/tube/metro trains and used by homeless people to line their cardboard boxes. I've never read the gaming section myself (if there is one in the printed version) so I couldn't possibly comment on whether or not I think they are biased, however the general low quality of the rest of the paper would suggest that their journalistic integrity is probably not high enough to give them the benefi...
Quit your spam hate, this site has enough trolls, thanks.
Don't forget this one ;P

Hehe pretty funny article, I especially enjoyed the bit where he is shouting at his kids because they aren't "Kinect compatible" lol.
Every copy of the game comes with 30 days free play, plenty of time to gauge whether you'd like to continue with a subscription or not.
edit: which explains the dissagrees... well... that and you're a well known 360 troll.
