I'm excited for what's to come. And I'm happy that this is the first step. It's a big step forward. And while the game has suffered greatly, with updates like these, it will have a dedicated community throughout its life span, even if there is but a few thousand souls rather than a few million.
The story will make or break the experience.
The gf will love this.
This is good news :) I enjoyed the base game but it was missing a purpose. If they add in things we can do, it'll spice up the experience.
... Delay did the trick huh. I'm still looking forward to the game, but this just makes them look mismanaged. 7gb is a lot.
*Adds to a mental to do list*
Huh. I wonder if they've sped up the process a little then. I do recall that it took a long while to prestige, and that those who actually managed to reach the end, were some of the best players. Before glitches and bugs sort of plagued a few of the games that followed and prestige icons became a tad irrelevant in terms of showcasing someone's dedication.
It's almost faster to shut the game down and boot it back up, than it is to wait for a new match to load/and then quit from the game in progress.
Hm. I agree on the spin-off aspect, however if 15 has a solid ending, but leaves room for a sequel, I'd reckon they should go ahead and make one before popping out FF16. People have waited forever for 15, it might be easier on the development end to produce a sequel (completely depending on how this story goes) than to dish out an entire new story/location/characters. I reckon the FF7 remake will come out before we see FF16.
WELL DONE. Now, it's simply a matter of seeing the level of support its game library will have, and the quality of the hardware itself (will it be solid, or break easy?) Either way, this is the first time in years where I've smiled at a Nintendo console reveal. I'll absolutely pick this up
Doesn't hurt to have ambitions.
Damned if you do. Damned if you don't.
Thanks for the reminder. I'm Canadian so they are hiking it up $20 (and no, that doesn't match the proper exchange in currency, it's higher just for the sake of being higher).
I'd never pay for this useless service if it wasn't for the fact they took online functionality and put it behind a paywall. Wonder who gave them that brilliant idea.
That's essentially what's happening. But the title of the review gives the impression they are reviewing the game itself. So this'll get bashed by anyone who doesn't click/read. Even after reading it though, I think the score given is a joke.
...Albeit the review and its score is at the end of the day, an opinion. I don't think "graphics" are reason enough to make a game have a score that's so low. You're essentially saying the game us unbearable, unplayable and sucks in many levels from story to gameplay mechanics. Yet you clearly only have an issue with the transition between the originals and the remastered version graphically.
So this score is...very questionable.
Agreed. Something seriously irks me how they can't spend the time to detail what the patches entail. It's either sheer laziness or a disregard for those who still play the game. Hello Games needs to work on how they manage their image, drastically.
This game has some of the worst channeling of news and updates.
Uh. What kind of garbage trade in deal is that? lol
Pretty much what I do when I play. Until/if, they add more things to do, it's pretty much discover, log and then back towards the stars.
HAHA, yeah... no.
