all the games i have bought so far have cost me 39-49usd.

only game i am aware of that is 60usd is MW2. so if that equals to all pc games being 60usd.. then i dunno what to say.

@below

yep i know.. but its not even worth pick that game up.

bought so many games in march alone, none of them were 60usd. 1-2 releases @ 60 not equal to all games at 60usd.

They are gonna milk this franchise to hell. Surprising ppl buy into it everytime.

sure good ones cost that much.. however one to beat the PS3 would cost ya 70-100usd.

for 700usd you would get a 5970, which has a combined GPU transistor count of 4billion(thats about 20times more then the RSX on the PS3) how can we even consider comparing the prices?

I dont see the need to compare the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

The differences will be minor at best. Let the game come out, just ike every other multiplat the difference will be minor.

If anyone really wants superior version of the game where a difference can clearly be seen then the PC is where its at.

You do realise the PS3 is not a supercomputer. It barely compares graphics power wise to even 3yr old hardware.

RSX present on the PS3 is 250million transistors its severely outdated.

CELL is about 230million transistors, in graphics terms it cant keep up with an RSX(which as i mentioned is really out of date). Had the cell been so powerful Sony would have gone with its original design and gone with 2 cells in the PS3.

A modern day GPU on the PC ha...

is not like the game is coming only to 360 and the ps3.

Its also coming on the PC. If the 360 had to hold the game back. It would do the same for the PC version.

So why is it, that it may only botch the game for the PS3 and not the PC?

If the Ps3 really is so powerful then it should run simular to the PC.

@Ocelot525

Quit being rediculous.

If its about Saving the Kids in Africa. I would rather play on the PC. Save the 10-20usd per game (which i would otherwise pay sony or microsoft extra per game). Hand that money over to the people who need it in charity then to give it to some company for no reason.

Whats more i could keep doing that on every game bought. That would end up being alot more money then buying a gaming rig vs a ps3, even with the powe...

Personally i would be worried if i was ATI or Nvidia.

Since games are now designed with consoles in mind. Developers arent doing much to adopt new technologies.

Obvioulsy this means PC users dont need upgrades as well. Since even 3yr old PC hardware outdoes whatever consoles can do.

While Like Panda said its too early to tell. However If developers do not shift attention to DX 11 then even PC users will stop upgrading hardware.

We hope its non-linear like the first one. However with the recent consolisation trend that might not happen. The large open maps we saw on the first one just are impossible on console hardware.

Nano suit was always good to toy around with. I guess you will find that different then any other shooter.

Friend of mine was previously going to buy it for the 360.

After he saw the PC version. He bought the game on his PC. which had the following specs:

q6600
8800gtx
2gigs of ram

that setup blew away whatever the consoles offered. He owns a PS3 and the 360.

Later on he upgraded to a whole new PC:

I7 930 (we clocked it to 3.8ghz)
5870
6 gigs of ram

now hes buying all his games for...

Lol @ console devs and their attempts to milk the market.

5767d ago 6 agree0 disagreeView comment

sure its still better to custom build it. since you would get better parts. you can easily make a non gaming pc for 300usd-400usd. adding in a 150usd graphics card is the only extra thing needed to make it into a 1080p hd gaming machine.

5767d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

lol lets just beat a dead horse here.. ut3 is the only game with mod support.

Talk when you do get some support. until then PC is the only system with true mod capability. just like its the only system with true 1080 on all games.

I know its hard to digest after being brainwashed with HD console adds all the time, but that just is they way currently things are.

Well isnt that what all freedom is about. Which is only present on PC gaming. We get so many mods to enjoy games. While on other systems ppl have to pay for DLCs etc and it still doesnt come close to what we get for free.

For about 600usd you can make a custom PC, which will run all of todays games in real 1080p 60fps 2x-4xaa.

PC has alot of exclusives from this gen and the previous years. Also it out does all the systems in multiplats by a large margin.

Not only that the games on PC are cheaper by a good margin too. So over time you save on every game bought, also you dont have to worry about losing all your games when the next gen comes out, PC has the best backward compatilibil...

L4d2 has been my favorite multiplayer shooter to date.

PC version rocked. Check out Igns head to head. Being a console centric site even they admitted the xbox version has fps issues and runs at low res.

GTA 4 Ran much better on PC then any console out there. It had its bugs initially, however once the patches were out there was no comparison between PC and console version.

Mods made it even more superior.

80% is digital now according to PC Gaming Alliance.

At peak times there are about 900,000 ppl playing the PC version.

Only 300,000 copies were sold at retail. That says alot about where the rest of the copies were purchased.

Also lets not forget games sold via digital outlets are much much more profitable for the developer. No packaging costs, no transport cost, retailer(the middleman gets cut out, its far more costly to maintain a physical outlet ...
