In New Londo there's a guy that will un-curse you. It's not too bad. Plus, those ghosts can only be hit while cursed, so yeah.

Region-locking is stupid, but at least this won't affect many people in the long run. Only, possibly, people that go on vacation to other countries (in a different region) or something.
My only issue with games being ported to consoles is when the interface is atrocious, that is, when the interface is clearly meant to be navigated with a mouse.
Although, apparently PC gamers hate what Bethesda did with the Oblivion/Skyrim interfaces, which are more geared for console gamers than PC gamers, so yeah.
I don't see how anyone could disagree with you. The way BFBC2 handled DLC was pretty good, having the maps be free for the most part except for Vietnam, which was actually NEW content with new weapons, etc. The way CoD handles it is clearly just cash-grabbing.
90,000 360 fans disagree with you. Most of my gaming friends play this game, half of which have both the 360 and the PS3 but simply opted for the PS3 version, the other half getting the 360 version like me.
Why do you wish to keep the 360 library so trashy? I welcome good, original games like Dark Souls.
Funny you mention that, TUGA, I paused it right at the part with the Camaro driving around that turn in cinematic mode (midway through), and asked my mom what she thought. After she watched it for a few seconds, I told her that it was a video game, and she was like "wait, really?"

Anyway, as a 360 gamer, I'm loving this just as much as I loved Demon's Souls. Perhaps even more. Unwavering but fair in its punishment, just the way I like it.
Last year, I read a nice article by a professional reviewer for some site (I forget which).
He said, basically, that good reviewers don't rate games based on what they, personally, think of the game, but how a person geared for that type of game would like said game.

You're mostly right about Demon's Souls's level restriction. It's actually +/- one tenth of your soul level PLUS ten levels, meaning at level 50 you can have +/- 15 levels, and at 100 it's +/- 20.
Still, pretty scary that they changed it so much.

In any event, yeah, I can't say I'm thrilled about that list. It's meh at best.
The thing, for me, is that the immersion is broken when you can shoot innocent civilians with no repercussions. Not including them in a game mitigates the problem without being (too) unrealistic.

I'm guessing you haven't experienced the particular glitch that I was describing...Because button-mashing has nothing to do with it. Sometimes, you will press the attack button or parry button, but your character will take longer, sometimes far longer, than usual to start either of those animations, even when there is nothing else going on and no other animations happening.

For some games or developers, I'd be inclined to agree, but I wouldn't say that about Devil Souls. Maybe Disaster Souls...with a new focus on environmental threats...
You shouldn't buy a game solely for graphics, no, but when it's supposed to be gritty, it's hard to feel immersed when the graphics rival Minecraft as opposed to, well, BF3.
