2/10?
Troll review much?
It's not an incredible game, but seeing as it was MEANT to be an arcade shooter, complaining about the lack of horror seems...whiny at best. It was never meant to have the same feel that the usual RE game has. The controls may be a little flaky but it isn't unplayable, which a 2/10 game would suggest.
I'd say that it's pretty average, personally, so 5/10 or 6/10. If we're using a grading scale, I...
I don't see any problem with what Gearbox is doing. They're basically saying "hey, most other developers don't do this stuff, but we're doing it because we support PC gamers."
They aren't saying that those things are "features," except for pointing out that most other games from other developers don't have those options.
You do know that there's this thing called "past experience," right? That sometimes this "past experience" can give you a picture of what is likely to occur in the future?
What...what the fuck does Knush's comment have to do with used game sales?
I'm a huge Halo fan, but I felt that Reach sucked. Hard. The story was cliche at best, it contradicted established canon, the characters were unlikeable, the gameplay was bland, all of it was just...shit.
Halo 1, 2, 3, even ODST were all far better.
Hopefully Halo 4 will be awesome and a return back to, well, GOOD Halo.
Since when did bisexuality become nonexistent?
Your assertion that he wasn't gay in 1 or 2 is also wrong, because a player could have just not picked a love interest in the first two games and waited until the third to "come out" or something.
That's pretty sad that the creator of Amnesia is saying this, because Amnesia is one of the more-powerful games that I've played, certainly more powerful than almost any horror movie that I've ever seen before.
And, although not strictly a "game," Katawa Shoujo is by far the most emotionally-impacting experience I've ever had. Dem feels.
What's the status of PC gaming over in Japan? If it's anything like their 360 market ("what market?" "exactly"), I can see why a foreign mag could get the drop first. Only time will tell.
I'd have preferred a similar version to what PC gamers got, with 64-player multiplayer and all.
Which really sucks for the console gamers. They want 64-player games just as much as PC players do, but DICE decided to screw them over in this regard.
No...beta?
But...but every 360 Halo (aside from ODST and Wars) has had a beta...
I do think that it would have been cooler with the bandit theme going, but I know I'm buying it, so whatever.
I just want to be able to leave between rounds. Or change my load out during the 7 freaking seconds between death and respawn.
I dislike that the author puts "Dark Souls" in the list of games that he hasn't completed, implying that it isn't an original experience. As-fucking-if. Dark Souls and its predecessor are very refreshing new experiences.
If it's not the author's taste, then fine, but don't act like it isn't original like the old NES/SNES/N64 games that the author is vying for.
That said, I'm glad he mentioned Rhythm Heaven, because that g...
The fact that people are throwing insane amounts of money at CoD's cheap-ass DLC affects me somehow, when other publishers decide to copy them.
You should be able to have the ability to play by yourself. Period. Being forced to play with a shitty AI is unacceptably retarded.
At least Ashley didn't get you killed (on a regular basis), and stayed in her goddamned trashbin until you told her it was safe.
Are they going to finally let me do something in between rounds? Like, look at my assignments? Or change my class? Or leave the goddamn room?
Are they going to fix the seven second block after dying where you can do nothing? That time could be much better spent changing my class and such, rather than waiting until I'm ready to spawn to let me change anything.
(This last point is really minor, but I also think that the server list should say if it's Co...
The funny thing is, reading the headline, I immediately thought of Crackdown.
Not because I think that the gameplay at all looks like RE6, but because the only reason I bought Crackdown was for the Halo 3 Beta. Heh.
How does "only 12% of respondents intend to buy the Vita" equate to handheld gaming going downhill?
The 3DS is doing pretty damn well right now, and PSPs are still high in the running. Maybe the Vita just doesn't appeal to many gamers, or maybe the survey-takers aren't the demographic that would be interested in the Vita anyway.
You wouldn't ask middle aged men about their 3DS-buying intentions and use THAT to say that Nintendo is failin...
The main reason that it's the most popular map, though, is because of how easy it is to rank up on that map compared to others. It's not that the gameplay is most-fun on that map over others.
The numbers show people grinding, not what people like the most. Eliminate points for a week and THEN see which maps are the most-played, and I will bet my soul it won't be Op Met.
