Im a pc guy, but my PS3 never misses a Naughty Dog or Kojima game! TLOU is a masterpiece.
Are you kidding with me? It is THE best, and by miles the hardest RTS, save SC1.
GRID 2 is a fun game, but not an 88/100 imo. I'd give it a 7.5 - 7.8. Good game, good fun, but not much more.
DRM is the consumers worst enemy. Kill DRM.
You havent even seen a Xbox One game yet. You've seen PC versions running on i7s and 780GTX. Multiple times more powerful than the Xbox One will ever be.
-10 points for changing the voice actor of a main character?
Exit... Fission Mailed
I don't get what they are giving you disagrees for. It was infact based on the 7800. Both Nvidia and Sony confirmed this back in the day.
It has mechanical damage, the reviewers just didn't play the game long enough to unlock it.
If gt5 was a 360 exclusive, it would've recived all 9's and 10's. For some reason PS3 exclusives are judged much harder. "Ratchet and clank too much variety" anyone?
What people tend to misunderstand is that there is no way to measure this accurately. How much of the total power they use is up to the game-engine, code optimization etc. The fact that FFXIII use 100% may be true, but that tells us the game is horribly optimized, nothing else.
Kinect just isn't practical...
MGS FOR THE FREAKING WIN!
Am I the only one who think the multiplayer is a blast to play? So much better than COD.
People may say that you don't see much difference in quality, or hear much difference in sound, and that compression matters little, and I do disagree with that, there are huge differences between BD and DVD.
BUT not only that, it is also a matter of principal. Would I like to support a company who strives for innovation, evolving the technology around us, progression.
Or would I cheer for the company who says that things are fine the way they are, we don...
I just tested move, and being pretty much against motion controllers I must say I just got convinced.
It was AWESOME! :D
Well, that wont help the people who already have a PS3?
I think this is a smart solution, as long as the adapter isn't overpriced.
They still had an emulation chip, not the entire PS2 GPU and CPU. This was removed because it was expensive to manufacture and the media was nagging so much about the PS3 price.
PS3 is physically incapable of playing PS2 games, the old 60gb's could because they had the PS2 hardware inside them, which was removed because people complained about price. This is a great way to solve it.
As for PS3 backwards compatibility on the PS4 - unless the PS4 is built on the same architecture it probably will be difficult. The PS3's architecture is pretty different from a standard computer, and if the PS4 doesn't use an updated Cell processor we probabl...
Just watched the KZ2 reveal trailer again for reference. I do agree that this is a tech demo, in a small environment that is carefully crafted, and that we wont see any game approach this visual fidelity in a long time. But watching the KZ2 reveal trailer and comparing it to TLOU, it is no question, TLOU is miles ahead. Look past the scripted fluid animations of the KZ2 reveal, and notice the very simple ground textures, and huge lack of detail on anything in the background, by todays standar...
