I remember playing this as a kid at a shoe store. I guess they purchased an arcade unit to shut the kids up while parents shopped.
The graphics in this "HD" version look pretty bad though...
Hey, now wait a second...
Actually I think it has a lot to do with establishing a solid gaming network early on. IMO, XBL is really all MS has going for it at this point. Exclusives are lacking and I don't think Kinect will really succeed in any big way.
People buy xbox's because their friends have xbox's. That's also why MS still gets away with charging for it.
@WayneKerr
Oh give me a break. They can speak English, they just don't want to speak to you.
@Statix
Actually it is probably staring at his dreamy eyes while he plays games, wishing it had an orifice to give him.
I was at least psyched for the movie, but then I saw a 'sneak peak' of a scene on TV...
I think it might be terrible. It was a bunch of quick-cuts hastily thrown together to confuse the audience and prevent the director/editors from actually have to show anything awesome happening.
I would really like to see a movie where the action scenes feel less like seizures and actually show you the action. 'Children of Men' is a great example of the rig...
I would consider myself a "PS3 fan" and I honestly don't understand the hate toward Black Ops. MW2 was terrible in my opinion. Black Ops offered a bunch of improvements and fixed the game balance. Split screen online multiplayer alone is a great addition, and despite what people say about Zombie mode, it came free and was actually really fun.
I think Treyarch is constantly getting better, but they seem to be getting steamrolled by the (albeit deserved) hate towa...
Oh, hey look at that...
The Open Zone is back.
@NathanWants2bMarcus
He is talking about the "best performing" version...that is always going to be on the PC. I am loving how you decide to limit the scope of the argument for no reason other than you feel like it.
Essentially you are both just trying to argue that the xbox still holds some value without any exclusives. Meanwhile I could plug an xbox controller into a PC and have 90% of the same games.
@ExgamerLegends
I'm pretty sure it wasn't. I thought that was some sort of fighting game, but I don't remember hearing anything else about it.
I thought it was going to be TLG too, but I swear I remember somebody at least revealing the genre (could have been a false report though).
Anyway, I absolutely cannot wait for this game. Team ICO is my number 1 reason for owning a PS3.
Because they purchased [timed] exclusive DLC.
I'd put money on them announcing that soon (if not now then a later event). That way they can pretend it's exclusive like they do with COD at E3 every year.
The author also doesn't seem to realize that Prototype 2 has already been announced.
@thereapersson
The Germans took a lot of heat for the first World War. They were basically responsible for almost all of the debt and 100% of the blame. This obviously caused the country to suffer, which causes civil unrest. This is a very large reason for why the Nazi's were able to rise to power. After WWI they probably felt very much like outcasts who were unfairly blamed for the entire war.
Killzone is basically a retelling of the story from a new per...
Anyone else lol at "Hopefully" on the rumor bar?
I would disagree that Sony isn't edgy, since I would actually consider the Crying Baby ads and numerous other Sony Advertising missteps to be way too edgy.
Like the one poster with the thumb, for example...
I do like the ad you are referring to, even though the link seems to be broken, and I like the Kevin Butler ads as well.
I agree. The school fight was a little much, and I doubt that part would ever get approved (and I don't see how the theme applies at all), but the rest of it was pretty good.
I can't listen to the audio, but I thought it was directed well and the concept could be very effective as a TV advertisement with some tweaking.
Then again, I found the kids playing war to be the best part and I doubt that'd get approved. That part is also why I didn't ...
Only one rail is electrified - "The third rail".
I couldn't tell you which one it is though (I have rarely used a subway). I assume it is the one further away, or the kid would be dead.
Oh okay, so you are just definitely trolling every Killzone article then. I wasn't sure after reading your comments in the first 2 reviews for Killzone, but it seems pretty clear now.
There are very few FPS games with well written stories. I'm not sure how this single flaw puts them into the ranking for worst first party developer.
@BakedGoods
Please explain to me how believing in the big bang is any different from believing a god created the universe.
Somehow you consider the big bang a more rational idea? Sounds like something super natural to me.
@M-Easy
Damn...Guess that rules the platinum out for me. If I play for that long and lose all that progress I'd just start breaking things out of rage.
And remove the auto aim. That ruins the multiplayer (plus the total control of moron hosts).
I do not understand why auto-aim is the default for all their recent games.
