LOL.

I really hope that you are just trolling. That is one of the stupidest things I have ever read.

I guess you sold your Xbox, Wii, DS, and PSP too, huh? Cause they have been hacked and using pirated software and games for a while now. You should just avoid the PC entirely. It's a breeding ground for those pesky pirates and hackers.

No, I have had no problems either. I played online at launch (up to level 30-ish I think) and had very few problems. The only real issue I had was a weird text glitch in the lobby and trouble connecting in a party with a friend.

The campaign was much better than World at War was, especially since I wasn't able to determine spawn points or get constantly spammed by grenades. The story was fairly good as well. I had no issues with the zombie mode except that it lacked any k...

This is stupid and isn't going to go anywhere.

I really don't get all the backlash this game is getting. Activision sucks, but this is the best Treyarch game I played and all they get is bitched at. It is much better than MW2, and is hardly as glitch riddled as New Vegas is.

Ah wtf. I just got LBP collectors edition and probably would have done this deal.

Dammit.

Have you looked into those problems? It may just be your ISP. Entering one of the codes into a browser I found this:
http://community.us.playsta...

It could also be an issue with your router.

I wouldn't be so quick to lay the blame on Sony.

@BattleStrats

What are you talking about? PSN has been quickly evolving to match XBL. They have been improving upon the service since it originally launched.

Today it is only missing a few of the features, otherwise it offers almost all of the same functionality. I can't wait to see what MS does on the day that Sony matches them feature for feature.

+Bubbles for "Intelligent" just because you called him an ass.

Don't know why he snapped like that.

LBP2 was sold out yesterday too, so that makes sense. I went with the Collector's Edition anyway, but when I was looking at the regular edition it was only available from a different seller.

It seems to be available now though.

Not sure what you mean about the XMB being more polished. You can get a ton of custom themes and wallpapers online, or even create your own.

If you don't like the look its easy to change it.

In my experience Oblivion ran pretty terribly on the PS3 as well. Most of the time it was fine, but the ending was a joke. It literally turned into a slideshow.

As far as that game is concerned, I think it was simply an engine issue, and maybe the lack of tweaking enough settings for the console releases.

As for the rest of the graphics concerns, I think a lot can be done to improve any game. Naughty Dog always say they max out the PS3, but games (even/especi...

This isn't a Sony product and it is obviously a piece of crap. The move is placed UNDER the barrel which makes no sense. It is also needlessly huge with a scope for some weird reason.

I saw one image of this and knew it was going to be terrible.

I think certain retailers get certain codes. I got mine from Amazon which apparently gets a Ratchet and Clank costume (I think).

The voucher you were handed was probably EB specific costumes, while the voucher inside was for collectors edition specific costumes (I think some additional animals and a bunch of other things).

In short, enter them both.

Edit: It looks like the EB games costume is Clu from TRON. I guess EB games counts as Gamesto...

I think Gears and Killzone's stories are very similar. I haven't played Gears 2, but both games deal with playing a protagonist who is part of an army that is doing something that cannot really be morally justified.

From my faint memory, Gears takes place on another planet where you are basically cleansing the world of its original inhabitants. In Killzone 2 you attack Helghan because they attacked you, because you banned them from your homeworld.

I t...

I agree that there would be a higher volume of sales, but I don't think they would actually make more money. They probably barely cover the cost of buying and stamping the disc at that margin.

I don't use steam, but I think Valve drops pricing like that to inflate sales for a limited period of time. People jump on the deals, where they may not have initially purchased. If you start at $10 there is very little room to make a deal and you have a lot less wiggle room to...

That makes no sense. People pirate to avoid paying -anything-. They do not do it because they are against paying too much, despite what they say.

Games could be $10 new and people would still pirate them. You can own infinitely more games when they're free. If anything, I just see companies raising the price.

This is getting really blown out of proportion. The Xbox and Wii are both hacked. Sony will just ban hacked PS3s from PSN using their MAC addresses....

@corepred4

Seriously? Do you watch it to laugh at the people on the show? The people are despicable and have no redeeming qualities. It's like looking into some sort of all-douchebag alternate universe. I saw one episode and have trouble coming to grips with the fact that people like that even exist. The show is entirely about 'kids going with the crowd.'

Reality TV is terrible. If people stopped watching that crap maybe the good shows would stop ...

I would buy one if it was around $200, had two analog sticks, and played most PSN games from my PS3 account without system link (meaning most PSN games are playable on both PS3 and PSP2 without extra cost, or even just for an extra 1 or 2 dollars). Graphically heavy games might be impossible, but the majority of games could be done.

That would be the ultimate win for the portable market. I think that would also be one of the few ways MS could enter the portable market and not...

@DavePSU

Folklore 2 for PSP2?

The original was a little like Pokemon. Could be pretty cool if they improved on the original a bit. It's a game I would play, but wouldn't necessarily prefer a PS3 version.

This game looks pretty awesome, but it really needs a new title. I don't think a lot of people are going to buy a game with that much crazy on the box.
