I intend to buy it, but I'm waiting for Trine to come out. I like to buy stuff in bundles.
Trine + Critter + Blood Omen (maybe)
Should keep me busy for a while.
Ah, that clears things up.
I thought 'Cry' was a prerequisite for all Crysis engine games.
Now it makes even less sense why the game was called "FarCry2"
FarCry was a Crysis Engine game.
Unfortunately it also blew chunks. It looked good, but not that good. I always saw jagged lines in the leaves. That might've been a PS3 vs 360/PC development issue, but if you expect their games to look better than Uncharted that is an hump they have to get over.
And is this engine limited to FPS, or have I just not seen anything else done by them?
In before...
ah DAMMIT!
Wow..thanks for the laugh.
If you think GT is casual, then you've barely played the game at all. Please explain to me how GT is more casual or less realistic than any other racing game.
And don't give me that 'no crashes' BS. GT4 came out a long time ago. The only game that even had decent realistic crashes in the PS2 era was TOCA (which I think was only available in Europe).
It takes more than crashes to make a racer realistic.
My friend has the G25 for Prologue, so I know it works. I'm not 100% about every feature, but it at least functions (I'm pretty sure that includes the clutch too).
They HAVE to include that steering wheel. It's the top of the line model with the most realism.
I never even comment on these stupid comparisons because I don't care (and I have never gloated about a multiplatform title looking better). It makes no difference to me whether the PC/360/PS3 wins because I have selected my console based on the EXCLUSIVES it offers. Most of the people who argue in here are just trying to justify their choice.
If having a multiplat game look marginally better on your platform of choice makes you feel superior, then good for you. I just find it e...
It sounds like you should have played on a higher difficulty.
I found the AI pretty challenging. They try to flank a lot and force you into the open. I didn't mind the guns either, but I played KZ2 way after Uncharted, so that might be the reason you see it that way. Killzone's shooting is a lot more challenging.
******Possible Spoilers*******
At the end of the game it became obvious that electricity wasn't the full extent of his powers. Either that or they are really bending what electricity can do (which I think is a good thing).
Warping, time manipulation, duplication (perhaps for a distraction?), plus an almost infinite number of electrical powers. What about forming your own weapons, like spears and chucking them, summoning an entire storm instead of one bolt, a higher ...
LBP?
I thought LBP's ending was pretty good for the type of game it was. What did they expect? To have Sackboy hang The Collector and spill his entrails? Maybe they'd have strung him up and beat him like a pinata until candy fell out?
It ended the story and said 'Go and share your levels'. Seemed good to me.
Also I liked PoP's ending. It was way better than the alternative, which was the two main characters holding hands as they skipped off into the suns...
That's from a different movie called Infamous (if you didn't already know that).

I worry about a movie for this game. It was basically set up for a sequel, and because of the awesome ending I assume the movie will be as well. That would mean the movies would continue after each new iteration of the game.
That would make it the first game-before-the-...
The other OS feature is really easy to use. You can't screw anything up because you can always make the PS3 go back to the XMB OS. Just hold the power button while booting and it goes back to the XMB automatically. I guess you should just be willing to lose anything on your HDD in case you give up and need to format it (just back it up before you install).
I have Ubuntu on mine and you can play emulators (I have NES and SNES) and roms without any exploits. It is a little hard to ...
KILL.SWITCH
Suck on that!
@Gamer71
I think your definition of 'platformer' is a little mixed up. Ladders don't make games platformers and neither do grapple guns. They give the players ways to get to high ground, but that doesn't make them a platformer, per se. Traversing complicated terrain that requires jumping, grabbing, climbing, etc. makes a game a platformer.
I don't think that is true. Timesplitters had a map editor and I'm pretty sure there were other games with editors before that. As for save and replay (I assume you mean recording a replay and saving it), I'm not sure that is accurate either. That didn't come out until Halo 2 or 3 right? There were other games with replay features (like Driv3r, which would actually possess your replays on occasion and play out its own scenario). It may have been the first FPS with it, but that's not really 'o...
Translation: Let's not talk about anything that makes the 360 look bad. That's not what these articles are about, okay?
These comparisons are for people that have multiple consoles and graphics whores, not trolling fanboys.
If you take the word 'fanboy' out of your post you basically just say "I disagree...here is my list".
It is actually a much more compelling read that way...just so you know.
You realize that DDR is probably going to come back huge with Natal.
I'm blaming it on you if it happens.
I'm pretty sure it is a prequel.
I agree with you though. They should have at least dropped the "Solid" and started a new Metal Gear series without Kojima. I feel like they have him locked in a cage over there and only feed him if he gives them more Metal Gear.
Exercise Bikes are a Japanese stereotype?
I think people b!tching about a possible price hike is better than people justifying the fact that they pay for a service that everyone else gets free by saying "It's only pennies a month".
That's why people buy crap from infomercials.
XBL should be free. I do not see a reasonable counter argument to that statement.
