You sure whine a lot for a guy that complains about whiners.
Where else would you go?
The UK is Getaway territory. Almost anywhere else and they'd either have to voice act in a different language, pretend everyone speaking English is actually speaking something else, or make a lame excuse for speaking English.
I wouldn't mind, but a lot of people would rather watch a movie that's dubbed rather than subbed (no matter how wrong that is).
They could probably do Australia, but I'm pretty sure the US is the largest ma...
Well technically those movies definitely finished. The main characters plots in both movies were resolved and they will not appear again if there is a sequel.
The events that happened in the movie world are still ongoing but I wouldn't say the movie didn't end. I liked the endings to both of those films and think that they would have been a lot less epic if they had tried to shoehorn conclusions in about the monster/aliens.
I think the Matrix had a very similar endi...
Unfortunately bluray doesn't make a pile of crap like Transformers any better.
I don't understand why you 'don't care' for the potential debate. That is the only thing I think people should be caring about. I have no doubt that the tech is better, but I have yet to see anything that really makes me excited for it.
Driving a car with an invisible wheel? Who is going to do that? Hitting dodgeballs in 3d? $100 says that comes free with Natal, because no one is gonna buy that sh!t.
It doesn't matter if I'm playing with a NES pad or a DS3 if the g...
I purchased FF7 on PSN and I really can't get into it. Maybe its because I already know what's going to happen to one of the characters, but I don't really think it's written very well so far. I could care less about any of the characters, including Cloud.
It might be because I'm not that deep into the game though. I have like 2 moves for each character (just cloud and aeris atm) and it's pretty boring because of that.
I guess I've never been a big fan of classic JR...
You can't make copies of discs you don't own. Therefore, making copies of rented discs is 100% illegal.
I'm actually not completely sure you can make copies of discs you actually do own, but I'm too lazy to research it.
But why would you do those things? You're over-complicating one of the most simplistic elements of any 3D game...movement. You would actually play a game that had you tap your feet instead of move an analog stick? It takes microseconds to change direction with a controller. With Natal you add 10 times as much effort for a response/reaction time that's 20 times as long.
I can see you're being quite creative, but neither of you are being practical. No one will play a game like an ...
It does make a difference. I know for a fact it makes a difference to you and everyone else. We read from left to right, so the very first thing you see is the 9 in $9.99.
Nobody cares about the cents. They care about the dollars.
The fact that they are using a 100 point scale is ridiculous. Do you actually think they have a non-arbitrary way of scoring? The reviewer scores the whole number first, and then the second number. Basically an 8.9 says "not a 9/10 ga...
That isn't true, and everyone would be too poor to even play any games.
Gamespot is horrible and I feel awkward inside the store.
Amazon is cheaper and I feel a whole lot less dirty.
Do you know why things are priced at $9.99?
Because it's not $10...
Tell me how you move around in those games you're thinking of...
...and Natal falls apart.
EDIT:
I'm asking another question, how do you move more than 3 feet in each direction using Natal. I assume your idea for a basketball and FPS game require movement through 3 dimensional space. There isn't enough room in your living room, and you'll end up walking into your TV. Also, you can't turn around.
I guess you could just create 9 squares on t...
What?
Where the hell did all that come from? I wasn't talking technical mumbo-jumbo, and I never said Nintendo made their consoles themselves. I simply stated that they have no reason to compete with Sony and MS anymore. Releasing a competitive HD console at this point would be like slitting their own wrists. And not the "I need help" horizontal way either.
If Nintendo releases an HD console it would just be to increase the graphics power slightly. The reas...
I think company made maps are a waste of time. If they set out to deliver them for free, then fine. If they actually allowed user created content they could never release anything for a price. Competing with thousands of map makers who do it for fun would be impossible.
I think they should release editors with games (similar to FarCry 2, but with a better game) and instead of making maps themselves just approve good maps and offer them in download packs every month. The users tha...
You've never played Counter Strike I take it...
PC gamers are perfectly capable of making their own maps. They have been doing it for a long time, and the fact that they have to pay for maps now is a little off putting. Especially for what Infinity Ward released last time. Those were some pretty frustrating maps they released. I paid $10 for those 3 maps, and talk about immediate buyers remorse.
I don't even play on the PC, but the gaming industry should be moving to...
Halo and MW are BRANDS. The pricing has nothing to do with how good Activision or Microsoft think their games are. It has to do with knowing how much people are willing to pay for their established game franchises.
You should be making a hassle about it. If you keep buying whatever companies throw at you they'll just keep raising the prices. I'm sure MS could raise the price of any Halo DLC, but they don't because they KNOW people will b!tch despite the fact that they'll buy it....
You are either insane, delusional, or both.
Why would Nintendo or Square do any of that? A Wii port isn't just slapping new textures on a game... It takes a hell of a lot of work to make a 'port' of a ps3/360 game. They have to basically make an entirely new game. There is no "recouping costs for production" on the Wii when they have to start all over again.
And Nintendo have no reason to release a new console. People seem to be buying the crap out of the W...
I don't think that MS could really change the price at all. I mean there isn't any "XBL Pay Day" as far as I know. People pay for new subscriptions every day of every month. If they change the price they just f_cked over a ton of their users whether the price goes up or down.
MS won't change the price for XBL at all this gen. People should just be hoping that the next xbox is monthly-fee-free.
I can't even get broadband internet.
