And instead of billiards and darts, they should let you rob banks and stuff like that.
I hated that the best mission in the game was a bank robbery that happens only once. I wanted to be able to do stuff like that all the time. It'd be awesome if they had seamless co-op for planning a robbery and pulling it off.
They could easily give the main character motivation for stealing by starting a tutorial level with him as a little kid stealing food to survive....
They didn't mention the red dragon either. I killed him with one arrow shot from the knight's tower behind him.
Kind of felt cheated out of a boss battle (or mini-boss battle I guess), but I suppose there is always new game+.
The cracked red eye orb thing pissed me off too, so I'm glad that is fixed.
@sonnyz
You're not.
I hope you aren't buying from somewhere like Gamestop..then you are not supporting the people that made the game, you are supporting a re-seller that makes most of its profit selling to people like you.
You are also getting ripped off...
"just make the games work on the devices we already have please."
I'm fairly sure that is the entire point of consoles.
PC's will always look better, but I can put my PS3 disc in my PS3 and it will always look the way it is supposed to.
I would get a gaming PC, but I'd rather spend the money on a PS3/PS4 for Sony's exclusives (especially Team Ico).
I do not want any extra lights on my controller. If I'm playing in the dark I don't want to be distracted by LED's. When the controller blinks because it is low on battery I find that distracting enough, so I don't want more lights.

It is also on a dogtag as the Amazon pre-order bonus.
Has anyone else noticed the building in the center of the art at the beginning of the game? You scroll past it at like 100 mph, but if you go back and forth as you pass it, you can make it out.
It isn't a building from either game. I think it might be a teaser for TLG and maybe an indication of where it is in the timeline.
I don't think accuracy is a good measurement at all. If you are afraid to lay down suppressing fire because it will ruin you %, then you are not doing any good for your team. I will empty clips on people just to keep them down while I/others advance.
People also exploit accuracy, especially in COD. I have seen ratings for accuracy through the roof, presumably because people only use knives or something.
@A-Glorious-Dawn
Warhawk is basically what you are looking for. The regular person combat just needs some work, which I'm hoping Starhawk will fix.
It is a bad idea to make 3rd person an _option_. In 3rd person view people can see around corners and move more strategically, which is an unfair advantage. I guess Rainbow Six did it, but it changes the gameplay completely.
@chriski
I did the exact same thing.
Anyone else notice there is a building between the scrolling artwork at the beginning of this game? I'm pretty sure it is not part of either ICO or SotC.
I think it might be a teaser for The Last Guardian.

In your opinion open world games aren't fun, but I don't see how they are played out. Infamous 1 and 2 were open world and were great games. Red Dead Redemption, Crackdown, GTA IV (although I didn't much care for that one) were all open world. Even prototype was fun mostly because of the traversal. I would play that game to run around and jump building to building killing things.
In your opinion Spiderman shouldn't be open world, but ...
Why did they have to say "Gran Turismo-based"?
Here comes another flame war.
Also, this article is a duplicate. It was posted a couple days ago.
This game is terrifying. Not that it is even that scary (at least not yet), but every new enemy I encounter I am scared of. I don't know how easily they can kill me or if I have wandered into an area that is well beyond my skill level. I'm scared to even go through the white mist a lot of the time because a boss might be there. I'm scared of areas that seem empty of enemies because that could mean there is something much worse ahead...

When I played I would frequently die after leaving the enemies line of sight.
This happens in COD all the time, but it got pretty bad before I stopped playing. Hopefully it was just beta lag.
I played it for a couple of hours at a friends house and I was kind of disappointed in the sound. The guns do not sound very powerful, which I kind of liked about Bad Company (although it needed to be toned down a bit).
I'll be getting the final version though, and will have to try it on my headphones so I can hear better.
What the heck?
Why aren't they just calling this game "The Another World". That sounds awesome. The whole White Witch part is totally unnecessary.
Anyway, I've got high hopes for this game. I can never really get into JRPG's, but this one looks great.
The entire fun factor in SpiderMan games was the traversing of the environment.
These recent 2 installments pretty much removed that feature altogether and made the game a linear brawler.
Multiple dimensions, future/past SpiderMen, and convoluted storylines are idiotic things to add to a game like this. They are over complicating things, and in the end you end up with a sub-par game with a story that no one cares about anyway.

I actually liked the driving. It took some time to master but I thought it felt pretty real. I loved drifting around corners and every car felt different (some of them felt extremely heavy).
I guess they got floaty in the air, but that didn't bother me too much since it could lead to some crazy results.
