I really don't see that. imo R2 was way better for multiplayer but worse as far as single player.
The co-op stuff was especially fun. I hated the first games multiplayer. They didn't even let you kneel if you were Chimeran. That and the glowing yellow backpack made me feel like there were balance issues.
Hopefully they'll mix the co-op up in the next game and make the multiplayer even better.
I would prefer to see him become a chimeran villain. Like the new spokes-demon (or whatever) that he killed in the last game. Being a superhuman takes the fear and overwhelmed feeling out of the game.
I want it to feel like the apocalypse. Like you're fighting to lengthen the lives of your fellow man, even if its only by minutes, knowing that the human race will more than likely be extinct in the near future. I'd love to play a game where it actually feels like you ar...
I read a preview and it seemed promising. The title isn't very good though. I had no idea what the game was about until I saw the monster, which jogged my memory. I thought it was a puzzle game at first.
Definitely prefer the NA box art though. The EU box art looks like a children's game. The architecture in the background of the NA version reminds me of ICO and SotC, which I think are games these developers were inspired by.
I have not played the new spiderman, but the fact that they removed the open world infuriates me. Seriously, just take the Spiderman 2 or Ultimate Spiderman games and remake them for the new consoles. How hard is that? They just need to have a coherent story and more variety in missions.
It's like they had an awesome idea and just decided to drop it because they felt like they had to switch it up.
I know nothing about the Spiderman comics, but I loved tra...
While I don't think it is a very widespread addiction, when you said "it's just a means of escaping from real life and its responsibilities" you pretty much perfectly explained why people can become addicted to it.
That's a big part of why people use drugs and alcohol.
I'm in the same boat, but I think that might be because I actually stop the TVR to watch Kevin Butler commercials.
Still need at least one hardcore game to release before I buy Move though. Maybe Sorcery if it turns out good. And if the next Elder Scrolls has Move support it'll get a lot of people to buy one.
Gloves could be a cool idea, but no one could make the controller except Microsoft. The gloves would need some sort of signal from the 360 and its games and that's not gonna happen without MS support.
Mad Catz can really only copy the console makers designs with their own little twist (which usually includes shoddy parts and manufacturing).
They really need to bring Eddy Raja back. He was an awesome not-so-villain.
The interactions they had in Uncharted 1 were great and they could do a lot with that if they met up again.
I don't understand your argument. The definition of multiplatform means it's on both systems so why would that even enter into my buying decision when choosing what console to buy? The exclusives are where the decision is made.
If you want Halo, Fable or Gears (etc) you bought a 360. If you want TLG, GT5 or LBP, (etc.) you bought a PS3.
I paid $600 for my PS3 because Team ICO is an Sony exclusive developer. That is why exclusives matter. I mean if MS...
The co-op sounds like BS to me. I never heard of that. The translated lines and lightsaber I have seen.
Also there is a secret ending in the non US versions involving fruit (note to all, do not spoil the ending).
Also the box art was better.
I disagree. The European box art (maybe Asian too?) is far superior to the ICO box art that came with the game in the US.
I can't watch the video because I'm at work, but is Eddy Raja in the list (from Uncharted 1)?
<SPOILERS for Uncharted: Drakes Fortune>
He was awesome even though he was a bad guy. I'm really hoping they bring him back for Uncharted 3 (since we never actually SEE him die).
Halo is review proof. Basically anyone that gives a game with this much hype (like GTA, etc) less than a 9/10 is just going to lose readership.
Since magazines and websites need people to read their content, I think most companies just contribute to the hype train.
That being said, Reach will probably be the best in the series since I doubt Bungie would send off their flagship title without a bang.
Anyone ever play Urban Chaos?
That game was awesome. Basically GTA except your a cop. Also there is a science fiction twist.
I'd love to see that game remade.
Edit: I guess it isn't strictly a PS1 title (also on PC an dreamcast), but it's still awesome.
Wasn't there enough of that at the last 2 E3's?
"Either case, consider ICO, and how NEITHER OF THE TWO CHARACTERS DIE."
That is not necessarily accurate. The end is simply left open to interpretation.
You could consider the beach sequence real, a dream by Ico, or that both characters are dead and the sequence takes place in the afterlife.
RACIST!
Also the quotation marks.
Personally, I played on an arcade stick maybe twice, and I don't think I would be able to use it very well. That's probably just me not growing up anywhere near an arcade, though.
Also, I think MS should have taken this redesign opportunity to build in a lithium ion battery. There is no reason to have these stupid add-ons, especially when they were planning a new controller anyway.
What? Being set in the past is kind of it's hook.
The weapons are all futuristic anyway, due to the Chimeran technology and the need for the entire world to build better weapons to combat the invasion.
And the story of resistance is great:
