Unfortunately I usually unload my secondary into air in a frantic attempt to kill my reloading enemy, afraid of his vastly superior weapon after it is once again filled with bullets....
:(
I was only ever good at CS when I stopped caring. You need to be calm when playing and can't get frantic when you are about to get a kill or about to die.
Why not show him a screen of something that looks better on consoles?
What exactly are you looking forward to though?
Are you actually interested in playing the ridiculous boat game, or are you looking at the fitness and dance games?
I can see a reason to buy it if you like fitness games, but how many fitness games can you buy. Kinect is extremely limited in what it is able to do for gaming. If you can't control your movement in 3D space then you are going to get on-rail and simon-says-like games (ie fitness and dance).
That comment made me throw up in my mouth a little.
So the the tech is getting good reviews and everyone already knows that the sales will be off the charts, but I honestly don't see why anyone on this website is backing Kinect (PS or MS supporters).
This website is made up of core gamers, but for some reason a lot of people are loving this tech. The only people that should care are casuals and people with kids.
The fact is that MS will n...
Not entirely sure why you felt it was necessary to attack him...
That is actually a parody of a scene from "American Beauty"
Did you play the whole game though?
Like, you know...to the end?
There is a message in the game that is much more than petals floating in the wind.
Wait, did you actually do that?
Nintendo just announced all those core games and you sold a casual console for an even more casual peripheral?
You are out of your mind (imo, of course).
It had one of the most memorable moments in gaming for me.
I played a black phantom in that one boss sequence and had a fight with a guy for at least half an hour. I was finally able to poison him with my spear which gimped his healing abilities. Then I meat cleaver-ed his ass to death.
EPIC.
I don't think people are thinking this through. Have you considered how 1:1 move support would change the game? You can't just tack it on as an alternative control scheme.
1:1 would allow you to specifically target enemy limbs, attack around shields, etc. A game designed for a regular controller would just be hit and block like the original Demon Souls (which was awesome as it was).
You cannot just slap on 1:1 motion control. It would take forever to...
I don't think I'd put Resident Evil 4 on a list of best PS2 games because it was primarily a Gamecube game. Maybe that's just me though.
My personal favorites are ICO, SotC and the Legacy of Kain games. Mark of Kri was also pretty awesome. I loved the stealth in that game.
"KZ3 is shaping up to be anything but spectacular"
I think you screwed up that sentence...not that I'm trying to tell you what to think or anything.
I'm fairly sure that 'The Fight' also has head tracking.
I think people are disagreeing because you'd need to duck your head as well (although I haven't played it so I'm not sure how well it works).
I can't really disagree with you there, but at least Sony has patched some core games so that the "hardcore" actually have an excuse to buy it. They have shown us that it CAN be used in core games, even if they haven't announced 100%-built-from-the-ground-up- for-Move core games.
Most people's main concern with Kinect is that there is no functionality built into the device that could actually be used in core games. You couldn't use Kinect in Resident...
Are you talking about the XMB (the PS3's user interface)?
You can put a custom theme on it and you can even make your own.
But how many times do you really want to hear the story?
I would prefer the 8 player co-op as it tended to be a little more random. You never knew what those 7 people were going to do. I think that replaying the campaign over and over is going to get a bit boring rather quickly. I like that its there so I can play with some friends locally, but as an online experience I don't think I'd use it that much.
Also, this may just be me, but I would prefer p...
Well of course a Cylon would say that.
I've had it freeze on my PS3 at least 5 times.
I also got stuck in a window after wandering the wastes for over half an hour (which means my last auto save was half an hour back). That pissed me off a bit.
I still can't wait to play more of it though, and hopefully installing the patch will improve it.
Yeah, Crash and Crossfire should be included in every COD game from the start, even if they reskin them.
Or just offer them as free DLC a few months after release to add some extra variety.
Team ICO is the best development team in the world, but I don't think The Last Guardian will technically be a sequel.
There may be a few small references to the other two games, but that is it.
