while some people have been going overboard with the no games stuff, the main uproar is about the "policies" that the xbox one may have in regards to used games.
Hopefully they do backtrack on these. The negative heat that they have gotten, even when they were thought to be only rumors, has to be hard to ignore. While my console will more than likely be connected to the internet the majority of the time, I don't want to be REQUIRED to be online at any point. Sometimes, stuff in life happens and a person can't connect to the internet, or they may be in a location in which no connection is available.
I like to take my consol...
Well, the backlash on the internet is loud and clear once again. Difference now is that there are no more rumors, and the Xbox One is an actual console that can be talked about. Microsoft can't hide anymore from questions about the clearly negative reaction from the gamers and gaming press.
They say that the gamers are important, and if that is true then they can not be oblivious to the overwhelmingly negative reaction they are getting. It is sad, because there are s...
So beautiful....
Exactly. I'm not even sure how this is even a real debate right now. People act like killing/defeating gods is something special, when for the Hulk that would just be another Monday or something.
One thing's for sure: If you are planning to wait a while before jumping into the next gen, then Sony is making sure that you are well taken care of until you're ready to upgrade
You make a new KOTOR and Battlefront and count the cash?
Looks good! Subtle but sleek.
Potential for another KOTOR game makes it good for me.
That is a good question. I'm trying to think of others, but can't think of any off the top of my head (doesn't mean more don't exist). But, I definitely don't feel like advertising was false here. Its just that many of us have expectations of what a season pass should be, and unfortunately those expectations aren't being met. Personally, I'm not upset about it, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed.
That's the part that bothered me. When I see a season pass, then I'm thinking that I'm paying for everything that will be released as DLC. I understand that upon buying this season pass, it tells you exactly what you are paying for, but in the past a season pass has usually meant that everything is coming your way and not just most of it.
Yeah, bad title. The article was actually pretty positive.
I'm sure that some of Nintendo's upcoming 1st party games will help. Heck, I've been holding off buying one for a couple of reasons, one being that most of the games that I want to play for it are yet to be released.
It also needs a serious price drop. It is difficult justify buying a console that seems to be only marginally better than other HD platforms that are out right now, and it looks to be completely outmatched by Sony and Microsoft's new consoles ...
10 hours seems pretty good for a game like this.
Meant to play the original when it first released, but never got around to it. After hearing so many good things about it, and noticing the Dark Arisen version releasing with extra content and a discounted price, I finally decided to get on board. Man, I am addicted to this game. the game has its issues, but it is still great fun and rewarding experience. I can only imagine what a full sequel would be like that improves on this game's imperfections.
Yep. make it right and make it next gen.
Despite what you think console sales rankings are between the the big 3, Microsoft has become a major player now. Even if the 360 is last in terms of sales, it isn't by much, and Microsoft has taken a huge part of the market share this generation. As long as they stay focused and don't try to do anything completely off the wall then i'm sure that the xbox will be fine.
Sales may have dropped a bit overall, but it is still the most popular franchise across all consoles. After so many releases each year that are purchased in the multimillion range, the quality can't be THAT bad. I still enjoy the series myself, but I can understand others becoming tired of the formula.
True. But, BC is a pretty good bonus to have. I like having one console to play all of my games instead of two. There are games that I have now, and will probably get between now and next year that I will want to play/buy and if I don't have to hold on to my 360 to do that, then I certainly won't be upset about it. More of a convenience than a necessity.
Yeah. It isn't unreasonable to ask this. We all are aware that there are indeed changes that will happen, but some changes just aren't needed. We don't feel this way because we are spoiled as gamers. We feel this way becasue "console" gaming has certain standards that are just expected.
