I agree completely about preservation Prof. In a dream scenario we wouldn't have to worry about software legacy as these companies would have their 1st party catalogues available and supported. Half of the Xboxes sold are the welfare SKU, the series G. When half of your miniscule customer base can't afford to buy games what did think the results would be? sad thing is MS haven't solved their biggest problem; themselves. I learned a long time ago you can't solve all your problems with money. MS' issues aren't money related. It's mismanagement. I have zero faith they'll manage either company properly and within a decade CoD will be another Halo Infinite. Most of the talented peeps will leave and we'll have big catalog of legacy titles on IndiePass with a handful of IPs getting the mobile treatment from King.

yup. It is Nintendo's market. SteamDeck's sales should prove there isn't a market for high end portables. 1.5mil since launch? Extremely niche. Forbes once again show why they have no problem stupidly spending other companies' money.
EDIT: They cornered the handheld market long before the Switch amigo. The Switch showed them they don't have to suffer consoles anymore. HDMI out n a conventional gamepad all they needed
I don't attack the "graphics" I attack the whole philosophy of courting an entire demographic that can't afford to support the industry. Gaming is a luxury and a hobby, not a right afforded to all. We got it straight from the horse's mouth - I mean it took a subpoena and court documents to admit it but Xbox gamers don't buy games. They wait for GP. People who make games deserve to be compensated. End of story.
the latency caused by the aiming mechanic needs serious work. Not too sure about the color palette choice either. We heavily criticized games in the past for utilizing same repetitive landscape (GreyZone or Gears of Brown) so I'm not sure the Matrix inspired Earth vibe can carry a whole game. In 2023 this is a choice and not a hardware limitation. Red, black, and white the entire game?
