I am going to laugh pretty hard if Kojima pulls a Chris Gaines on everyone.
I think a closer analogy would be if you bought the car but the car manufacturer could randomly lock you out of it despite it being yours.
As a remake I am fine with this. If SE remade ff7 I would pay full price for that too. This is much more than a remaster and the quality of this game is so far above average there is no reason to hesitate in my mind.
To be fair.. A free kick in the groin is still better than having to pay to get kicked in the groin.
On topic: I wonder if these missions can be used towards unlocking costumes.
A surprising demonstration of people voting with their wallets. Hopefully publishers take notice that trying to appeal to larger audiences can backfire if you go too generic to stand out.
It is easier than you might expect to put together a pc and I personally do play my pc on my tv sitting on the couch with a controller. The only hard part in my opinion is choosing the parts (and the restraint it takes to not break the bank going for all enthusiast level parts).
I don't see any problem with them. They are a convenient way to pick up classic games for those who are interested. It is a nice option to have.
In other news, I wasn't given a new car to drive off the lot because I refused to "sign" any paperwork or "agree" to any "terms".
The demo was a lot of fun for me but I can see why newcomers might not quite get the appeal. So much of the fun in MH comes from the little things like crafting equipment and farming components for items to help with the big hunts. Those things make taking down a difficult monster way more satisfying.
I hope people give it a chance because these are fantastic games.
I would love to see this on the ps4. LoS was one of my favorite action games to come out in quite a while.
I definitely agree I hope they go with something close to this for the final product. The dualshock design has always been very comfortable for me and with the added touch pad I can definitely imagine some great experiences. I really dig the WiiU controller for the screen and touch capabilities but this seems like a really solid middle ground. Can't wait for the PS4. I really hope Microsoft take a cue from the d-pads of Nintendo and Sony for their next controllers as they have the worst i...
While I agree that Nintendo could have and of course should have done more to ensure the first months after release would be more exciting for gamers I think that if you really take a look at the history of console launch periods they aren't in as bad a position as many make it out to be.
I am a huge advocate of the PS3 and the stellar library of games it has but are people really forgetting the abysmal first year or so it took to get going? I personally waited until the...
That list has me almost sickeningly excited for this year.
I love new game +. Chrono Trigger was my first experience with it and I thought back then it was one of the greatest ideas ever. It always makes for fun replay value.
"Steaming mad" definitely referring to Steam.
Nope! looked it up and while I wouldn't have been surprised if you were right it was Nintendo themselves who (finally) decided to publish it in NA.
Actually if I remember correctly Nintendo brought over Xenoblade while Xseed brought The Last Story (another brilliant game)
They are a small group of people who are legitimately passionate about great games. There are only a few companies that might cause me to try out genres I would otherwise be uninterested in (fishing, visual novels)but thanks to them I have broadened my tastes.
If this turns out to be true I am buying a bottle of $200 whiskey to celebrate. Earthbound remains my favorite game of all time.
I love this game. I hope anyone who is trying it for the first time stick with it. This game is all about the rewards of putting in the effort. Preparation for a big hunt makes the kill much more satisfying.
