I look forward to the day female gamers can be more open about their gender and views on games without it being automatically seen as an attention grab. That isn't to say everyone should advertise it out of context but I think the differences you described help make the community more interesting and shouldn't have to be kept secret because of some elitist clowns.
This blows my mind. How is it the "fake" gamer girls fault and not the douchebags who assume you are "fake" just because of your gender? It is up to the gaming community to be more open minded and less judgmental in the first place and if that happens so called "fake" gamers won't be a big deal just another person bringing attention and money to our favorite hobby.
If I didn't already have a WiiU I would buy one for it as well.. And I still have my original snes cartridge.

Sometimes it is nice to be a bit behind. Definitely a cheaper way to game. By the time you are through with dark souls I bet this will drop to $20.

The game you are referring to is Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii. Outstanding game. This looks great too so far. I am excited to hear more.

My favorite game of all time. I still own the cartridge and strategy guide from when it was released but will absolutely be picking it up on the virtual console.
Stories that have been around for thousands of years are prime places to draw game scenarios from. We do it with polytheistic mythologies so why not the monotheistic ones as well?
No matter how many times I see it the agrees and disagrees on these comments still paint an extremely depressing picture of the mind-set of so many people here. Not only does this particular situation have nothing to do with "special treatment", but acting like all the women who want equal rights are all the same because "some" want special treatment (whatever the perception of that may be) is a joke.
Pick up one of the Y's games! Very fun action RPGs.

The first one is good but keep in mind the second has some pretty great improvements so even if you arent totally into it give both a try.

I enjoyed the extra content of Maverick Hunter X but the graphics just looked so wrong. It would have been much better off with sprites. Playing as Vile was pretty badass though.
