I wouldn't hold my breath. You could always just jump in for a month or two at a time now and then the game itself is cheaper than most.
I'm at work counting the hours until I can get home and play. I just hope the servers are up to all the pressure!
I'm not usually into MMOs but I am really digging this game. Will absolutely pick it up for launch.
Ah good to know! It has been such a long time I was going off memory. I feel even older now.. But thanks.
It might have something to do with the fact that BoF1 was a squaresoft game and Capcom took over for BoF2. I personally like the games better with Capcom at the helm which sounds so wrong when I think about it.
I love this game so much. It was this era of games that got me into rpg's in the first place. The combat was fantastic and the characters are memorable and charming.
My personal favorite game of all time. It has a timeless charm and art style and much more serious and mature story than the running sense of humor would indicate at first glance.
While I really enjoy Dark Souls the level design in Demon's Souls was spectacular. I would love to see another one with a Nexus.
The more people who take a stand and speak out the more the culture will shift. Every intelligent discussion is a step in the right direction.
I picked up Dark Souls for $7.50. Already had it for ps3 but it was worth it for the extra content alone!
I wish it were that simple! They are already working on Trails in the Sky 2 which is apparently a long slow process and they even said a kickstarter wouldn't help. We pretty much just have to wait and hope they keep chipping away at these great games.
Asserting your comments are right and valid and saying I'm wrong (groundlessly) doesn't make you right. And the notion that someone disagreeing with you is childish is, in itself, childish. There is nothing tasteful about stereotyping women as weak. The number of disagrees I received in my original comment actually serves my argument well as I said it is a society issue and as long as there are people like you perpetuating the stereotypes it remains a problem. You have projected some ...
You still clearly don't get the point of what I'm saying so you're right it isn't going to get anywhere because you have been making the same assumptions and stereotypes in each comment. I was participating in a discussion using what you said as an example (and the context of the example from you is clear), you made assumptions on my character and motivations and completely missed the point.
I know exactly what it means. It was your use of it to imply that feminine meant weak was my point entirely. I didn't twist your words you twisted the use of feminine through the very stereotype that is being discussed.
The very fact that you used the term "femmeboy" shows exactly how much of a problem this is. Femme obviously to you meaning inherently weak. Should every female character be strong and self reliant? No definitely not, but clearly there is a problem with many peoples perspective of women and it certainly isn't exclusive to games.
I think society in general is slowly getting better at writing female characters but there is a long way to go.
I definitely agree it is a symptom of our culture rather than gaming specific. Unfortunately, our culture made gaming into a boys club when we should be welcoming the ladies for enriching and expanding our hobby rather than trying to drive them off with asinine comments.
Just a heads up you can cancel the download as soon as it starts so you don't have to wait for it. It will still be in your "purchased" list.
I actually had a great time playing DotNW. Lot's of humor and juggling enemies in battles was very satisfying.
It became too expensive and inconvenient to compete with the home experience. I would love to go to a decent arcade now and then but they just aren't practical.
I'm not usually into MMOs myself but I have really been enjoying this game. There is a lot of content that you can play solo and when you need to group up it is intuitive and fun. I definitely recommend it.
There are also a lot of throwbacks to older FF games that are really fun if you are a long time fan.
