hell just might be someone making me play this game.
yeah, i think i actually felt myself get dumber as i read this story.
uh, Insomniac did Resistance (and R&C). Are you thinking of Uncharted?
EDIT: yeah, he just made a slip, pre-edit his comment referenced Naughty Dog, not Insomniac
anybody else think it was ridiculous that this game didn't make the cover of October PSM? crazy!
Edit: LOL, the wax statue is enough, MChief is such a diva
and harmonix was the real talent in the equation.
have you played a ratchet game before? they typically work like this with the first level being a "let's get acquainted" sort of thing, and then a steady learning curve.
uh huh, sure. i can't believe you sent your little brother to steal for you! ;)
right, if the 360 is going to give us more than the xbox, then i want more than halo to be associated with the console. bioshock is a step in the right direction. MS may be digging themselves a bit of a hole by lavishing so much publicity on the title already synonymous with xbox.
"Also, those rumors of BioShock coming to the PlayStation 3?"
Those "rumors" were so lame to begin with. Nothing more than the game using a multi-platform engine, which is pretty high on the "stupid reasons to think a game is coming to a console" list.
i'm not sure why everyone has their panties in such a twist over this. telling people to check their limited edition discs for scratches before taking them home isn't exactly controversial advice. and anybody that thinks this is fake b/c it's before the 25th is kidding themselves, the street date's been broken.
the only thing that bugs me is essentially re-running the same story with "alternate sources". bo-ring.
you can't. :(
i don't think they'd ever do a direct sequel to Shadow, but would handle it more like Ico and Shadow are related. I appreciate that about their storytelling, the next game can be a really unique experience that expands the overall story. and you should really pick up a used copy of Ico.
Of course, if they did something completely unrelated to Ico and Shadow I'd still be just as excited to pick it up.
i bet they hired those guys for the Harry Potter Book 7 release, too. ;)
that there's no touchsense leads me to think one of two things happened:
1)it was too expensive
or
2)it didn't work like they wanted it to.
shocking. i mean, wow, i'm really blown away that a microsoft executive didn't just shout out, "home will rock! i want a ps3!!".
c'mon people, since when do we go to a company's rabid competition and count their opinions as gold? those of us who enjoy Live wouldn't care if a sony exec thought poorly of it.
i don't think this snippet adds much to the dialogue.
exactly. they really need to man up and own to the design flaw -- and offer a recall exactly as you describe.
it's frustrating that i'm feel like i'm looking at a countdown clock everytime i turn on my 360. that they won't even admit the flaw really adds insult to injury.
what i find horrifying is how in a free market, and with the Bill of Rights and Constitution still in place, people find it appropriate (even their duty) to determine what can and cannot (or should and should not) be consumed. i want to place a ban on unconsistutionial litigiousness.
if you don't like popsicles, don't eat them. if you don't like randian fallen utopias in which you are faced with the option of harvesting children, don't play the game.
thank goo...
so, Big Brother may be watching, but he's not shutting down our Live accounts.
"Pro-G has since been contacted by another MS rep" who had to kill and eat the still beating heart out of the original rep in order to take his place.
nifty, but i can't say i'd ever feel the need to pick one up. even with a multiplayer scenario, i can't imagine needing this.
This quote gave me the giggles:
Nintendo’s Wii, which has a “magic wand” that lets players mimic human movement..."
That quote just shows how completely out of their comfort zone that reporter is.
and I agree with the above, spoilers are (in general) completely avoidable.
