Who are these idiots again?
No, really? Who's approving this?
I totally forgot that Nintendo invented table tennis/ping pong. Geez, Sony, stop stealing Nintendo's sports.
It's a good thing I do research on games that interest me MYSELF.
Everyone should do themselves a favor and research a game for a minute or two on their own instead of jumping on Metacritic or some other big gaming site.
I also agree with the American media heavily supporting and near-boycotting the Japanese machine. Suddenly, there's allll this american money flowing through the games industry and the sooner they choke out anyone else from capitalizing on any of it,...
Not without good marketing.
Nobody will hear about it!
Edit: Well, anyone who doesn't already know won't.
Maybe a Natal rape sim is exactly what they need to finally break through in Japan. Forget authentic JRPG'S and past classics that Japanese gamers love, motion rape sims will be their claim to fame!
...That's what she said?
AHhhh you reminded me! Noooo horrible visions of Nintendo conferences are invading my mind!
360 Sports Resort
360 Fitness Fiends
360 Space Marine Chef
I think I just named em all. lol. (Sorry, my deep-seated skepticism is bleeding out)
Ok ok, seriously. I had to. Now for some TRUTH.
I really, really, REALLY want Natal to make me appreciate motion controls this gen. The Wii really hasn't really done it, so please Microsoft, give me a reason to want to wave around in front of my television! Make it fun, and I'll gladly do it! That's t...
Woah there! I think you might have forgotten......wait what was that game? Ohh yeahh... nvm. It was a shooter too.
Heheheh.
I agree with you for the most part, although there are several non-shooter gems floating around this gen, there is most definitely saturation in the shooter market. Both FPS and TPS I would say.
Streams like sh*t.
First thing that popped into my head when I read the title was the line Radec uses when you play bodycount.
"Bodycount, slaughter the ISA scum, leave no one alive!"
Anywaaaayyysss..
Criterion is awesome, if Bodycount is anything like BLACK, I'm all in. BLACK was one hell of a game.
I thought the beauty of Windows was the fact that it does prettymuch whatever you tell it to? They loved to gloat about freedom this and choices that, now they're crying about it because they can't keep a stranglehold on every little aspect of it.
Haven't they been trying to keep up the illusion of the "not-so-big-evil-corporat ion"? What ever happened to THAT?
I LOVE Torrence's "Rantasaurus" vids... They're so damn funny.
That....would also work! hahaha.
Some people might have a change of heart though! Surely perma-ban is a bit much?!
F*cking idiots, arguing about the graphics again.
The game looks absolutely INTENSE. It's dark, looks scary (in the jump-out-at-you sense), and most important of all, it's not another MIND-NUMBING SHOOTER, or at least it doesn't appear to be. It looks like a thriller, it looks like it's doing its job. Be happy people. If you don't have a 360 and want to play it, find a friend to play it with or something.
Active and more strict moderating as well as the deletion of the open zone is all the site really needs. Comments go in one place, and get deleted in one place. No fanboy venting anywhere except for their blogs.
A neat addition to the heavier moderating would be:
Fresh accounts should start off with a temporary bubble cap so the people who repeatedly create new accounts just to flame the comments sections over and over will have to go through hurdles to consistently ...
I never found linearity a problem in ANY game I played (do people remember what side scrollers are, haha?).
Like I said, I'm going to reserve judgment on it until I get my hands on it. If the world is interesting enough, and the combat spot-on, I don't see the problem with a linear, progressive storyline (the idea is to get to the end eventually right?).
And when I was talking about "new kids", I was referring to the people who have never played a "li...
Bayonetta got a 10 right?
I'm pretty sure that wasn't a sandbox game. I think I saw a few one-way streets in there if you know what I mean.
Like I said earlier...Linearity is totally not a bad thing. I really agree.
I knew Edge was going to hand out something awful, no surprise there.
Call me crazy, but I'm actually looking forward to Ben's review of the game over at psxextreme. He's a self-proclaimed RPG fanatic, particularly of the Playstation variety. I'm very interested in what he has to say about it.
With a headline like that, I could've SWORN you were taking pages right from HHG's playbook, lol.
