A game should be a blast from start to finish. You shouldn't have to "graduate" to have have fun really.
That's what tutorials are for.
They gave it like a 40 or something didn't they?! You guys do realize that 40 is half of 80?
What a confusing review. They should have knocked it down way further by the way they reviewed it. How does that work?
Edit: Kinda wanted to aim that reply to BodyboarDUR.
Yeah.. Nexus and Nine Breaker felt alot like those Extreme Legends Dynasty Warriors games. Repackaged garbage (I did however love DW2, and 3).
Everytime I see that picture in the preview it gets me excited.
I don't even care about what the article is about to be honest. Oh, Jaffe. Just announce the damn thing...
Good for Sony for keeping their head above and out of the water. The competition's going to heat up in 2010, and that's how I like it.
The AC series is among my favorite series ever.
AC 4 and For Answer killed it for me though. So I just like to pretend that they aren't actually real. It's easier that way.
Goro and Sporty Spice? Wow. I never would have made that connection. That's awesome!
When are they going to start marketing this beast? Feb/March is going to be a pretty busy time this year...
Seems like a far cry from that Hong Kong review, huh?
Fable MMO, Calling it now!
Not bad for a fan video! Next time they should try another audio track though. Sounds a lot like that MW2 trailer's music. But still, it was put together convincingly! That I'll give them credit for (whoever they are).
Buuuuut,
I still have to say the trailer Sony unveiled last year had me way more pumped. It didn't give me the urge to take part in a full-scale military raid like the original trailer did.
I had the beta, played it about 3 times, watched my friend play it like 4 times after I was finished with it (to find some sort of silver lining in it), and I honestly didn't find it. This was...ermm. Like at least 4 weeks before the beta opened up. I tried the beta again after it opened up, but the servers were down.
Was I playing it wrong? By the sounds of it, apparently I was. The games I played and viewed involved spawning from 2 separate spawns, and there were control point...
I was in the beta. Nothing to really write home about. I did like that metal music that just comes out of nowhere after you kill some people or do something important... Pretty cool I guess.
I think they took mag in a very bad direction by making it FPS primarily. No I don't think it should be TPS, I'm saying unless you are specifically infantry, you're driving a machine or transporting units or providing ammo to people or something. SOMETHING to break away from the primarily FPS...
I'd be surprised if it managed to look as good as Killzone 2. Uncharted just has really pretty characters as they act in the cut scenes. I still think Killzone 2 is a cut above Uncharted 2 when it comes to gameplay.
Oh, I'm not taking anything away from the game from a technical standpoint. In fact, it's amazing what Blizzard can do with their games, how they can run on almost anything like you said. But, WoW is just very ugly to me, and is honestly the only Blizzard game I whole-heartedly detest (and I LOVE their games!). @_@
Your tore the thoughts right out my head. Thank you!
The question is: What will enhance my gaming experience even more?
9/10 people will say graphics I guarantee it, and 3d IS the next step for graphics.
Cool! I shall check it out.
I'm still up to my eyes in D2.... GahhhhH!
Anyone on here still playing D2?
I don't mean to sound like a d*ck, it's not my intention at all.. But how would 3d work without something shielding your eyes and manipulating what you see? I can't imagine a tv by itself projecting 3d images, sounds crrraazzyy.
Or were you thinking more along the lines of a visor? or a (heheh) dragon Ball Scouter haha.
He seems against 3d at the moment? Weird. It seems like the "next big thing" coming up. Natal with 3d....could be amazing though (as long as Natal actually works well).
Is this Sony's counter-gimmick to Natal though?
Whether it is or isn't, MS could always just implement 3d later I'm guessing --with the "magic of software" as Don Mattrick likes to call it. The same "magic" that basically redesigned the whole interface of the console, and...
Hell yes, Black had amazing music. It gave the gameplay experience a very cinematic feel, I don't know how else to describe it. It reminded me a lot of soundtracks to big budget films or something. Black wins my Soundtrack of the decade. Halo has a distinct theme song, but aside from that, it didn't really grab me like Black did.
If we go back even further, I'd have to give it to Quake 2.
