Just to humour you, I'll throw a disagree up there. Hahaha.... We all know it's all a lie ;)
Metro 2033 looks badass. A graphical powerhouse in my opinion (although I may have only seen PC footage, but still, wow...).
Who cares? Just be happy when it's released, and then judge it. See for yourselves if the delays paid off. Usually when games are delayed, they're giving some spit-polish, or overhauls in some cases. Both are *usually* a good thing, right?
OnLive to me, is much like when I first heard of the Cd-playing capabilities of the PSX. It's a taste of the technology stepping forward.
Anyone not sure about not owning the physical media can just take a look at Steam, or any other service that offers downloadable games for real money. They're THRIVING.
I love to own physical media, don't get me wrong. But this is where gaming is going. It's how everything has been going. I mean look at the 360. What has it added a...
Huh. Would you look at that. It's a black Xbox 360 controller.
Kinda of reminds me of like a recent Silent Hill meets Max Payne or something. The animations are gorgeous too, like when he ducks and tries to avoid things. It looks pretty sweet.

So far the runes look interesting, but they only seem to be a way to change the skills themselves, not really the variety of builds. Mind you, different skills means different builds, but I'm talking more along the lines of different, bizarre, and fun to see in action-type builds. +skills really helped this, and I hope they implement more of that in D3.. The original Diablo had spells that any class could use, provided you had the magic. I liked that alot.
Say what you want about other devs, but Jaffe is one of the only ones that, (like mfwahwah said) takes time out to talk to his fans, or at least share his thoughts (which are usually nice to hear even though they aren't always positive).
Twisted Metal for me, played out so nicely during multiplayer games. It's where I have the fondest memories while playing the TM series. God of War may have been perfect for single player, but sorry David, Tm was just too much fun playing with a friend... You HAVE to cater to multiplayer in TM. BUT, if the single player is actually done perfectly (great story for each character, gameplay is spot-on, perfected enviro and normal weapon pickups, level design) I'm all for that as well... MP is st...
I'm starting a melee sorc today. Another one. My third actually. Go me.
I hope D3 lets you do all the stuff you can do in d2. Like singerbarbs, melee sorcs, fc bears, fun things like that.
I would call it under-supported before I'd call it their biggest fail. It worked quite well in games that used it, it's not as if it didn't work. It just wasn't really used by developers very much.
Lucky & Wild. With a bullet (and a car).
After unlocking everything, there's a pretty creepy story behind that game. Well, TM: Black I guess. Really messed up stuff. I wasn't sure if it was real or not. I certainly hope it isn't..
Ohhhhh, Buddy. Bring it on!
Loved the article. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited to experience this game.
It's got repsecs, bug fixes, and some skill adjustments. I'm happy so far. I'd personally love to see the generally useless skills get a significant buff. Make everything useful as long as you invest those points. Some new runewords would be sweet too.
AND FOR GOD'S SAKE, NERF PALADINS. MAKE EVERY CLASS AWESOME.
Sounds like he reluctantly bought and kept his PS3. Oh well. Hopefully he gets more use out of it. Those machines are great for media as well as gaming.
completely agree. It's all about how they go about charging you. If it's bundled in with your Live sub fee that would be CRAZY! It's not like MS to do that though. That would add WAY too much value to Live memberships.
Sounds like a brilliant idea! Price it right, and I think it'll be perfect.
I'd kill for a demo of D3. I want to see what they did to Tristram. I'm a big fan of the original, and the fact that they included Trist in D2 made is almost complete for me. Based on the concept artwork, Tristram will play host to more horrible things, and I'm really pumped to go back there.
